Kryptonics was a legit skateboard wheel brand in the 70’s and 80’s I believe. Another brand that sold their name to corporate giants.
I have some Kryptonics skate wheels still from the 70s/80s...they are killer wheels.
I got my first deck today at 30 years old and have just been out on it for the first time and holy sh*t I have never felt so alive in my whole life. Amazing, thanks for inspiring!

@@will1631I got a size 8 element complete but since then Ive upgraded to an 8.25 Creature deck, 54mm Ricta Clouds, Bones Reds bearings and Indi 144s. Currently working on moving ollies. I’ve been out every day since I got my first deck, so addictive

Kryptonics made the very first urethane wheels and invented the durometer scale!
They were still making great wheels in the late 80s/early 90s when I last skated.
Shocking to see that brand name on such a piece of tat.
Dude, I used to skate these as my go-to budget deck back around 2002. Back then they were actually decent!
I have a mini 24” cruiser Redo from Target and it actually skates decent

Yall should test out Andy Anderson new shape board.. I think it'll be best shaped type of board especially for nose/tail grinds on rails

Please do a video on the Braille old school fishtail deck! I really want to see one. I’ve checked through the channel backlog, and you haven’t done a video on it yet
U should make a video a Walmart board all black and a braille board all black and see if It gets as bad as score as before
I would suggest a comparison of this target board with the cheapest board you can get out of an actual skate shop or even a skate branded (like element or Zero) complete.

The people buying skateboards from Walmart are the people looking for a toy, not trying to delve into a hobby.
It's a liability thing. These big corporations are afraid of people riding actual skateboards around their stores and getting hurt.

@@bondedwithpotatoes0076 only if you're trying to actually skate. If you're a customer walking by and hopping on one the company would rather it move less. I know you don't agree with it but it's just how businesses view things.
I rode Kryptonics 65 pink soft wheels for years. Have a soft spot for them.

I was searching this brand because another parent bought a kid board from Walmart and I like how heavy it was, the steel trucks. It actually feel really steady compared to the magneto board I got for my kid 😂.
I love this channel amd its been a while since i watched any videos, but my BOY KEEP THE CAMERA STILL PLEASE🤣🤣🤣 my eyes are hurting trying to readjust all the time🤣🤣
The problem I always had with boards that I felt held me back the most were the wheels with the bearings with the built in spacers that would only roll for one second when you spun them by hand. And all of the cast alloy trucks where the Kingpin ring would always break off and then the truck would never hold on again. My whole world changed when I found a snapped deck in a trash can. Some super power slid wheels that were all different sizes, all worn down to the 40 mil range. A nice pair of Lucky 7's, and I can't remember the trucks but they were black. Instead of getting a $25 Walmart complete that year, I convinced my mom to spend 40 bucks on a shuv-it blank from the local skate wall in the basement of the Ace Hardware store. With that, I had my first "professional" setup.

Anyone remember the build your own kryptonics kit? It had like 2 or 3 decks, a set of trucks, and 2 or 3 sets of wheels with some bearings and hardware? Before I knew any better that kit was awesome to me😂😂

No I missed y'all in Florence everslicks help with wear ? If your skating enough to require a new deck every few weeks blems blanks shop or clearance might be a way to go
One day I will learn how to skate, and when that day comes, I wish you guys could teach me in person
get a board somehow and live on it.ride it everywhere leave your feet on it watching tv.if you cant get a board until xmas start running and practicing how to fall right. there are lots of balance excercises but the work will pay off and you will be a much better skater faster
