FINALLY playing HORNETS NEST!! Charlotte, NC

Welcome to Hornet's Nest Park in Charlotte, NC. Iconic course for many reasons. As of more recent, the DGPT Championships in 2019-2021 before it moved to Nevin. Very challenging track. Mostly tightly wooded gaps with some holes that allow to open up a little bit. The island on hole 2 is usually missing the basket so don't come expecting to play it. If you're in Charlotte, it's a must play, no matter what you hear from others!! Thanks for watching!!

In 1780, General Cornwallis marched the British army into Charlotte. The city of Charlotte strongly resisted the British Crown. Legend has it, because the local patriots fought so hard against General Cornwallis's people, he called Charlotte a “Hornet's Nest of Rebellion” as him and his army fled.
