Glad you’re liking the Fillmore’s! Those things are awesome 😎
They work great. Thanks.
When I need to go back and forth between bits I put the extender in the ratchet with one bit and another bit in the handle. The extender in the ratchet gives you more leverage for the bit in the handle. The extender is also handy when you have trouble getting a bit out of the ratchet, just push from the back. I also have their Torq Stick in my frame bag.
It's a pretty handy tool. I haven't seen the torq stick before. Thanks.
I’m really interested in that Topeak ratchet! I haven’t seen that tool yet and now I’m ordering it. Glad I watched this. Thanks Brian!
Who doesn't love a ratchet! That tool is pretty cool.
Yeah, that thing looks cool
I just picked up some fill-more valves for the FatBike from Ardent in Rapids on Friday… looking forward to putting them on in the next month.
Crud Cloth is solid!!
Crud Cloth is a must!
Love my Fillmore valves. Presta valves are always so finicky and the Fillmores just make everything easier. I'm always about simplifying my ride. Price is ridiculous tho. I also have that Topeak ratchet set. It's awesome! I use it in the shop more than I thought (cuz of the ratchet). The tire levers in it kinda suck but beggars can't be choosers trail side.
I've yet to use the tire levers. I have a set of park tools ones for the shop.
I recommend the 76projects valves over the Santa Cruz fillmore. They have the same high flow but are lighter weight and cheaper ($32.50 rather than $50).
I recall seeing those on PinkBike or something. They look good too.
big fan of the fillmore valves too, have them on my Fezzari Delano Peak. My only complaint with them is that they claim the valves work with sealant injectors BUT they do not. Because there is no core to remove, the injectors do not fit. You either have to very, very slowly pour it in or take off half the tire to put sealant in. I feel like is a little bit of false advertising, but I will definitely keep using them.
It's odd, I saw another video and the guy has no issues. I sure Orange Seal hose and there is a vacuum effect going on and it's doesn't really work.
@@BrianVaughn interesting, would be curious which one he uses. I have tried a few different ones and none fit between the valve and the "stem" inside it.
I think it was a ShadLife video. ua-cam.com/video/OgxOcg9Cr6k/v-deo.html
Hmm 🤔. I'm one of those guys that doesn't carry tools on a ride. I know. Not a good idea.
You should always have a multi tool Incase you twist your bars or something comes loose like a brake caliper. It is a rare occurrence but when it does happen it might be the difference between a long ride or longer walk.
