This is a pretty cool video. I’m excited for Reality Resort,the character designs look really cool. My most favorite out of all the characters is Brad,because he’s just so cool. I also do like Marcus,Finn and Kylie,they are also really cool. I’m just really excited to see how the first episode will play out.
First impressions are definitely vital when it comes to reality television, even the fictional ones. We assume to know who we are going to either like or dislike based on what little information we have to work on when it comes to these contestants. I've only heard about this 'Reality Resort' and its upcoming spinoffs for only a few months, while continuously following the 'Disventure Camp' series all the way to the 'All-Stars' season. And while I may not follow the 'Big Brother' format of reality television, but for me it is the 'stories' that these contenders have to offer that I feel will leave me engaged with a series like this. While I may have a rough idea as far as 'who' could possibly excel at the challenges, likely getting eliminated early, who's the hero or who's the villain, and who could potentially win this portion of the competition... while acknowledging the fact that this is still only 'part one' of the first impressions discussion and also acknowledging everyone else is still waiting to hear of part two of this casting. It's like reaching the end of your semester in college, only to realize that there are assignments you've turned in and your professor still hasn't graded them yet. But then I remind myself of this one rule when it comes to shows like this: Always expect 'the unexpected'. Even based on first impressions, you think you know how the overarching plot will turn out... but the truth is neither of us have a clue as to what we can expect. The contestants we think are the least motivated could potentially stun us with their capabilities the longer they perform in the game. The contestants we assume to be the favorites to win the entire season could potentially be the 'earliest' voted out. The contestants we thought we were supposed to be rooting for could potentially be the 'worst' contestants ever on screen (By which I don't mean being the worst at the challenges, but just in personality). With so many twists and turns we can anticipate happening in this game, there are SIXTEEN outcomes as far as how this game can end... but only ONE outcome will prove who's the ultimate contestant... at least for Reality Resort. Next thing you know there's the Reality Race (Which I'm assuming is inspired by 'The Amazing Race'), then the Reality Ranch (I have no idea what that's a nod to), and Reality Royalty (Which I'm assuming is a series which determines who's the best of the best). As far as the contestants who I could be supporting right now, it's almost tough to decide based on their bios. I could easily be rooting for the contestants who are doomed to fail, and I could easily assume that the contestants going home are the ones I 'should' be supporting. For me, being a Florida guy, I could easily root for contestants like Analise and Vijay only because of State loyalty. And yet there are still tones of characters with interesting backgrounds and stories, while others... I think I need to see how many episodes they last before I can truly confirm my overarching feelings. It should also be worth noting that 'three' contestants are college students, you'd think they'd be forming some form of alliance despite coming from separate locations and have contrasting personalities. But you just never know. Either way, I am invested in what this series has to offer and you'll hearing very 'detailed' thoughts about my opinions on each episode the further this series progresses. In the meantime, good luck on the development of part two of your own first impressions.
