What does pro-West mean exactly? I would sincerely like to understand what they mean by that. Because for a very long time, pro-West is a nice way of saying anti-Russia..
NATO what else. America, Canada, the EU are all mostly left-wing neo-liberal policies with a deep bureaucracy, and not to mention these crazy western agendas that are taken up in human rights, you know what I mean, there are crazy migrant policies that will destroy our hereditary culture ,...
The western elite who are against the Global Majority; against Latin America, Africa, Asia, and this includes Russia and China. The elites who back war and genocide to destroy most of the planet for a small evil weapons dealing minority that rule the west.

I want to know what pro West is in their understanding because that's where the whole problem lies. Why can't they call themselves neutral and work with both sides to their benefit instead of feeling the need to declare themselves pro West? I think it's just about getting free access/movement across EU...that's the only thing public understands.
Thank you Pascal and Lasha for this valuable discussion. The choice between small power balance and great power war should be a no brainer. However, the notion that small powers can achieve such a balance is doubtful. Ultimately both small (eg; Georgia) and large (eg; India) nation states that still want to have an each way bet, will have to decide which one of the two world orders they prefer to align and do business with. Such a choice is now being made by small and large countries that have already worked out the pros and cons of the Anglo-Saxon unipolar world order and the alternative Eurasian multipolar world order.
Well, the did invade. Lasha is well aware, pretty sure he has said at least 1-2 times, that Saakashvili had orchestrated that and is not even trying to claim it was somehow "unprovoked".
Nagorno-Karabakh was in many aspects a prelude to the 2022 conflict in several key aspects: - it proved that a full blown hot conflict between peer adversaries in Europe was possible without people in the West batting an eyelid (while Western perception might differ, Armenians and Azeris consider themselves close enough to Europe, enough to be in the Eurovision at least). - dealing with unrecognized autonomous republics encroaching on your territory is a free pass for ethnic cleasing. - heavy use of drone warfare combined with artillery. - intense media war rivalling the US's proficiency on one side. - one side having a democratically elected government wary of Moscow and the other being a hydrocarbon rich dictatorship has little to no bearing on western ethical concerns.
Azerbaijan regained it's territorial sovereignty? Based on what document? If you taking about dream Azerbaijan, that should include part of Georgia too 😉 when one has enough power, they don't need a middle man, or middle man's proposals!

What's the influence of the CIA in this region? What is the situation between the hyper rich of the region and the ordinary person? It has a history of great instability I think, which often means it's a place of conflict between east and west, and that means the CIA and likely MI6. involvement.
@brianwheeldon. My earlier post says Georgia had over 20,000 NGOs, which is an indication of how much the CIA had Georgia covered. My post was swiftly censored by the CIA's friends.
The EU never took the time and effort to understand Georgia

Georgia has had their Saakashvili in recent memory.
Did they already forget that lesson?
Next, Russia invades Georgia "unprovoked", when Putin woke up one morning and decided to do so because he felt bored.

Yep that's what it means + anti others to varying degrees
Essentially, pro-west means support the policies of the US and Europe, which is neoliberalism and fascism as of late

I stopped listening when Lasha stated that Russia invade Georgia in 2008.
I understand why, but I would still listen rather tha break off. Cheers

These small nations want to be part of Europe for one reason only. Their citizens want to be able to live and work in European countries

Accordkng to the journalist Lee Camp, Georgia has over 20,000 NGOs. Looks like the CIA has Georgia very well infiltrated.
