Ran 17 miles last weekend and still dialing in my food and run fuel so I don't completely tank right after my long runs. Even though fueling is so unique to each person I love seeing what your routine is, thanks for sharing!
If you haven’t tried athletic brewing that might be a good option to replace some of the beer cravings. They have a bunch of different flavors and give you that same refreshing feeling post run. But for sure still have your beers lol 🍻
I'm in awe of your gel-taking skills. Just getting back into marathon prep (racing in July) and having to force myself to get all the gels I need in. Hoping it gets easier! Great video :)
Omg I used to work at that Medici!! Seeing all your Austin content makes me wish I had gotten into marathons when I still lived there (‘: you rock, keep it comin!
I'm glad that the 5 victims that were killed in the 2013 marathon incident are impressed on us for honoring their legacies. Martin Richard (killed by the second bomb) Lingzi lu (killed by the second bomb) Krystle Campbell (killed by the first bomb) Sean collier (shot to death by Tamerlan Tsarnaev) Dennis Simmonds (died from head injuries from a pipe bomb thrown by Dzhokhar Tsarnaev during the Watertown shootout) they are never forgotten and always be missed. they may have been wiped out during the 2013 Massachusetts incidents, but their legacies will continue. they will be in our hearts and rest in peace, because those 5 people didn't deserve to die.
Wooohooo!!! I will be a hermit all weekend so I can focus and avoid overwhelm, so no shakeout hosting for me 😆🥹 which I’m sad about but hope you understand! Best of luck to you hope to see you out there!!

Definitely so fun to see what other people do even if it’s not what you do! 😆 figuring out fuel is tough but once it clicks, it’s magic!
I love this kind of video. I came to running after 10+ years in a strength sport and quickly learned I had noooo clue how to fuel for running.
The reminder at the end was something I so needed to hear thank you🥺💛
Aw you’re welcome! So glad it resonated 🫶🏼

It will get easier! Keep practicing and training your tummy :) it was really hard for me at first but now I finally have the routine nailed down!
Props to you for staying moving after such a long run! I did a 20 miler last weekend and was barely crawling around the house the rest of the day 😩
I missed this chatty run vlog when you posted! Watching now 🤓

You’re so welcome, thank YOU for watching!!
How did you guys get water/gatorade breaks on the run? I’m always weary of hiding bottles
My run group organizes them on our routes which is SO helpful! Otherwise I’ll carry a handheld!
This just inspired me to clean out my fridge 😂
Hahah it’s SO satisfying
