Big Tommy!!! You looked super focused and came for war, buddy!!! A great performance, buddy!!! It was weird not seeing Luke, but he is sculpting the world strongest baby at home, King Koa!!! I am beyond proud of both of you fellas and can't wait to see you both crush the competition at the WSM!!!
What was you watching?
As big a competition Arnold's is, i was puzzled why they didn't a podium to showcase the top three athletes. It kind of cheapens the tournament a bit.
Love how honest and upfront you guys are.
Both of you are a credit to your families and the country.
Mitch the moose, will continue to dominate everyone including Tom. The results speak for themselves
I wouldn't count on that. It'll be interesting to see Shaw classic l with its 8 events that are heavy it might just favor Tom. Mitch is strong as hell and mentally believes he can lift whatever he needs to but counting out Tom, Trey, Evan and Mateusz is a mistake.
@@mediaproof960 agreed, especially Tom and Trey, no offense to other strong men competitors but i feel Tom is in the right position and right state of mind to go after WSM #3, Trey and Hopper will be his 2 toughest opponents but Hooper's let the "ego/pride" run to his head in going after the Arnolds UK before WSM, Tom deloading and training harder for WSM will be Hooper's undoing but he only has himself to blame on that, the difference between experience/ rookie vs. pro (not to sure where Trey falls in in this but it'll be close, he's not a beginner and hungry for some gold as well)
Immediately cutting the stream after the last event without the audience knowing the placings was weird. And zero podium? :S I agree with Tom and what he says about celebrating the athletes, not only for the athletes themselves but so the users don't get blue balls from the surprise ending.

I think what you said was going through your mind with that frame-carry was that point where Luke was missing. I think hes that big confidence booster you've had the last events. And as both of you said: It was the first competition without Luke. Love to see both of you being so strong together and looking after each one another
Honestly I'm so proud of tom been watching his journey and progression with autism since day one and to see him in the commentators box when a few years ago without his wife he wouldn't fly to the Shaw classic the man's a fecking inspiration!
Totally agree on celebrating ALL the athletes. As fans we all have our favorites and we know that the sacrifices you guys put in is insane. And no podium to stand on or trophy or medal is insane.
Watching you compete in person was unbelievable! The way you made the Apollo press look picking it up was unreal! You made it look effortless

It was an amazing comp and we're all super proud of you Tom. All we all try to do is improve day to day, week to week and so on. Thats exactly what you did. First 2 events were big improvements over last year and the dinnie's were a new PB.

I agree completely with what you said. There's really something lacking when you don't have any head to head events. They're more exciting for the audience, and they really push the athletes to be better. Also, it's super insulting to not show the awards ceremony. Yes, they announced the winner, but the rest of the standings were really glossed over and unclear. It's only fair that they celebrate each and every athlete with the whole audience.
Tommy, i met you before the competition and cheered my lungs out for you! Congrats on a good showing!! Love seeing you compete and will be cheering for you at worlds.

There were some serious issues with this comp. Maybe someone here will explain this to me? Apollon Wheels event,Thor get a signal from the referee, and then they took the rep from him, fair enough. In the last event, Hooper's rep with the first stone was arguably worse than Oskar's attempt (Hooper lifted it above his chest, not his head) and nobody intervened. Okay, maybe it was a good lift after all. What do I know, he won anyway. Then he equaled Tom's score of 2 reps, but he gets 10 points for it, while Tom gets 9? What am I missing?

Tom you're being very smart about not doing Arnold UK. fair play to you. loved all the points you guys made about how the arnold classic needs to spend more time celebrating all of the athletes and putting some investment into a post show podium ceremony. I agree that giants live and perhaps the shaw classic are the patterns that promoters need to start following. both of you are class in a big way.
People have to remember strongman over the years there's always 1 or 2 strong favourites but now a days there's 4 or 5 guys with genuine chances of winning it
You two do what you need to do as long as you both make it to WSM and the Shaw Classic. :) Kidding aside. Noone should be disappointed no matter what you decide. You two know your bodies. Listen to them. Also, it was nice to see you and Mateusz battling it out for the podium. Great performance Albatross. The live chat was rocking the spicyness when you were up for sure.

The arnolds really put up the show so the best performance in every events is the spotlight and I agree with you guys that it takes away from what strongman should be. The max deadlift is normal to be showcased like that but events that could be head to head should be. Like anything for reps or for time would be more enjoyable and bring different results. One by one events for endurance/distance, max lift and medleys. They really don't care about the podium it was not streamed for the last couple of years too.

100% agree on celebrating every athlete individually. Everyone has worked incredibly hard to prepare and put down his/her best performance and that should be rewarded by recognizing that.
Make the smart decision, both of you: make sure you're going to World's topfit and if that means pulling out of a show beforehand then by all means do that!

Very impressive performance Tom.....Luke is the big brother everybody would love to have....not a big fan of women's sport but The strong woman that smashed her face on the frame carry then still did all events on the 2nd day .... absolute beast

@@thomasrosendahl2783 two different shows. He had never cracked top 5 at the Arnold's before. WSM he has 4 concecutive podium finishes. Since it's his first time on an Arnold's podium, one can reach the conclusion that his performance was more impressive/important, and that he has improved over all.
@@thomasrosendahl2783 Honestly, looking at the events, third is a great result for Tom. These events suited other competitors much better than him, which shows the improvements he has made.

Tom, you proved to yourself that - even without your support network by your side - you can perform at the absolute highest level and go head-to-head with the other giants of the sport when your mind and body are right. Of course, you'd prefer to have Big Tom with you. But, doing this without him there was a BIG win for you. I'm incredibly happy for you and I hope you know that your performance and courage were very inspiring for a lot of other men and women out there that have their own struggles going on!

Given the events your placing was super impressive. Looking at the events I reckon you will win the Shaw Classic. Also think WSM should be yours this year. Basically, I think this year, if grip is a big part of the show Mitch will win, and if atlas stones you will win the show this year

Love watching the post match analysis 💪 Nice to know the shit I was shouting during it was probably the same shit you were shouting too. Agree with everything you guys said, I was disappointed as a viewer that after watching all those hours there was no podium, you know we love to see that, but at least watching Luke celebrate made up for it for us fans at least. Personally in the Arnold classic Tom watched it… you just never turned up there was no 🔥 I’m not sure why but if you look at MH the fire was unreal he even got AS up when he knew he couldn’t lift! You’re the man mate… so find the 🔥!
Glad you've addressed Thor's down signal for one of his reps cos I laughed when I saw it saying absolutely no way was that locked out. That was as bad of a call at Mitch's monster dumbbell at world's. Didn't realise it had been reversed!? Think that's harsh on Thor if so, as he got the down signal and that's all you can ask for...
Big Loz said that there's 3 refs and it was only the 1 who said good lift and the other 2 didn't so it wasn't a good lift.
You did well Tom and this was an honest review of your performance. You should miss UK Arnold’s and concentrate on WSM. Make sure the bicep is 100% for WSM.
no your underestimating the amount of setup n technique is necessary mitch had the frames weight carrying him forward n just took small fast low gliding steps the weight held incorrectly will jus hold you down without the right tilt its alot tougher

I noticed that about the commentators talkin over some of the lifts and then not showing the podium n didnt love it. But the free stream for Arnold's and rogue is the absolute peak of strongman viewing disregarding the monetization aspect. Idk how the different shows go about raising money, but where its possible a live stream is best, preferably free lol.

@@Jedstop Also with that "logic" you must've considered Mateuz's second just a "good result" too? Hooper's performance was amazing and that man is gifted and never fails to amaze, and won by a margin, but, despite that, he wasn't the only athlete that did amazing and placed so.

Great job Tom. As a fan, I don't really understand the 1 athlete format that Arnold's has. We watch to see you guys compete. When it's purely a 'score' aspect it makes it seem like a golf tournament format or something. Anyway, big respect Tom. Well done!
