Normal I lived in bourne end late 50s and through the 60s it happened nearly every year our house was always flooded that time of the year. The last time I remember filming was about 1960 in Abbott brook when a friend and I rowed John Pertwee round the area, so he could cover the flooding for the BBC , John was always great fun
Hi Stephen, absolutely love the drone footage of Cookham. Our boat is the Blue Widebeam that you have filmed. Great to see it from above and how far the water stretches. We have a UA-cam channel called 'Weir on the move'. Would you let me use a snippet of your film in our next video, so we can show our viewers the extent of the flooding around us. We would of course add links and credit your UA-cam channel. Best wishes Julie
😂 nah, I don't think it's late. Also, I live in the area and I've been really enjoying the drone shots of Maidenhead and surroundings. Keep them coming, Stephen!

I just about still recognise these roads over the flood.
Most of the roads have cleared up now

Thanks for watching Julie. Yes of course you can, no problem. I Look forward to seeing it! 😀
I was going to drop you a message to see if you'd be able to cover the floods. Thanks for uploading this.
Better later than never 😅
