🤣 🤣 🤣 yo I thought you were talking about me saying the word "like", is crazy that in this video you knew i was talking about you though. I thought it was funny when you commented before but now it's even funnier. I appreciate you man.
Just curious have you ever heard of a CCA being told to change the locks on various CBU's around town. I got kind of a curve ball thrown at me today. First time doing it. My home office sent me to another town and when I arrived they looked at me like, "why are you here?" and said "we will give you something to do". They gave me a bag full of tools and 10 locks. I didn't think CCA's do maintenance work like this. I've never been the best with tools and/or handy, so I was under a lot of pressure not to screw it up. But in the end I did just fine. Just thought it was kinda weird.
I've seen a CCA go and change 3 locks before but not anything like that. If you don't mind doing a job like that then you should be good, it gave you some experience and that's good.
Hey, I want to know if here in So. California it's okay to Not have atleast 1 ice machine & 1 of those Elkay water bottle refill station in post office?
One would have to create a website that is only intended for all postmen and parcel service providers. So that all postmen in the world can exchange and chat.
I really have, and I thought about having a bunch of CO workers on with all personalities because it gets hilarious sometimes. I just need to figure out how to set it up.
Question-do you know if the 24 month conversion for CCA is a fixed time period..or is it possible, with regulars retiring and PTF’s moving into those vacancies, that a CCA can become PTF sooner than later in that scenario? Do offices have to keep a certain amount of PTF’s once others move up?
I got an offer at one post office and accepted it and now another post office sent me an offer that I really want how do I go about trying to accept the job I know how to accept it what I'm saying is that will I have to do the process over such as fingerprint and taking a test
If it's a "job offer" that you're accepting then it'll cancel out the other job you've applied for. As far as finger printing and everything I've heard of people having to do them again and then I've heard about people not having to, i guess it all depends.
Does the USPS HR hold it against me if I withdraw an application which got a job offer (this is my very first job offer)? I got a job offer for a location father away than my preferred location, the preferred location is for a separate application (and I haven't got a job offer for that application yet). Will the USPS still give me a job offer for other applications if I don't respond to the first offer? I have 5 applications turned in and I got a job offer for the application I did first. Still waiting on the other 4. Do you know if USPS only extends one job offer at a time for people turning in multiple applications? The application which got the offer says "Offer Phase (EXT)". The other apps say "Pre-Screening" or "Application Entry". Will USPS still send me job offers (or at least consider it) to those applications?
Thoughtful and informative video. Thanks for caring enough to share.

I hadn't heard about that incident with that CCA who was killed. Absolutely horrible!
Definitely horrible.
Killed how?

@@CalUsviFl darn yeah that's a shame. A disgrace. Probably in some city were crime runs rampid.
@@Itiswrittenkjv1611 Indianapolis. Yeah it can be crazy in some cities i bet.
Union rep was out today. Talked a lot about safety. From stepping in a hole, wearing your seatbelt, and getting bit by dogs.
They are always pressing that.

Crazy you say that. I agree. I've been talking to a post man in the UK that I hope to interview
Have you thought about doing a podcast??
I really have, and I thought about having a bunch of CO workers on with all personalities because it gets hilarious sometimes. I just need to figure out how to set it up.
@@CalUsviFl That’ll be cool. I wouldn’t mind being a guest on here or on a podcast.
Was wondering how I can change my craft to electronic tech ?? where do I start ?
Best way is to call HR and talk to them about any openings like that.
For the background, it’s mainly for criminal and to make sure your driver license is good? Correct?
And to see if you have any felonies.

I don't think they have to keep a certain amount but you can definitely be converted sooner if your office has people retire or quit.
Hey Mike,
When you said Michael in this video were you referring to me? Just wondering
Yes

I wonder how often usps cca get raises ??
3 months, 1 year, and 18 months.
Oh wow. Okay just those three times or are those intervals ??
@@alexandriamares1402 I'll double check but as a CCA is definitely only 3 times.

They won't hold it against you and you can have multiple applications at a time and it won't matter because you can get offers at the same time.
