I put these tires on my 1025, what a difference. Been running the pressure at 17psi, great ride improvement. Good video thanks.
I am so impressed, i selected the tire before i purchased the mower, they only come in 2 tires sizes. I also found this tire difficult to buy must because it is so new. Thank you enjoy your tractor.

Those big doughnuts should get the job done. Nice how they clean themselves. On my Ferris I loaded the tires and it makes even more traction. I suppose you have the floating seat on the mower too. The Ferris is easier on a persons back for sure.

Did you consider the Kenda K-502 Terra Trac?
This is the tire that comes on the 3200 midnight.
I ask because I mow around a 2 acre pond, but its not mud I worry about, but a hill I must mow and lose traction coming down quite often.
I did consider that tire and that machine. The versa turf is a radial tire...just superior in my opinion but that Kenda has a nice pattern.

I was researching replacement tires for my is3200 and came across the versa turf tires, then found this video of them actually on the machine I want to use them on which helped me verify they will fit so thanks for that!
. They just arrived today so I'll be installing them soon...I use my Ferris in my business and the added traction of versa turf on saturated ground will be a huge plus in the summer here, along with the fact they are radial tires which just ride better and tend to last longer (Spartan mower has their own custom radial tire but they don't make it in 26 inch size or I might have gone with that)
Have you noticed if your versaturfs track badly on concrete? I used to run at101 tires on my exmark mower but had to stop because they would track up concrete very noticeably if I turned at all on it.

Since you have the equipment, I would get some dirt and level those really wet areas in your lawn.

So I just ordered some of the Versa Turf tires for my Ferris i had 26x12x12 on before so I just ordered the same size in the Versa Turf. Is that the right thing to do?
It's been a while since I ordered mine...but I believe that's what i did. The versa turf tires are a little shorter if I remember I just adjusted the deck. I hope you like the tires thank you for supporting my channel.
They look good! One question I have is why would you go with a directional tire vs semi-directional? Semi would pull both forward and reverse?🤷🏻♂️
I would install no other tire than the Versa Turf on this mower after 4 years they have proven to be awesome. There may be other tires available now...I don't know. Versa Turf tires work very well on this mower. Mow safely thank you for commenting.
Super Impressive! I have the Ferris IS3200z and the tire traction (stock tires) is awful...really terrible.
The Versa turfs really help with traction...although i will get stuck.
Hello Marauder, Thanks for the video. I have is3200z 72 inch deck. I was seriously thinking of up grating the tires due to dirt buildup, Traction and better ride. I like your carlisle versa turf tires are self cleaning on the outer sides. Not so much in the middle? Did you try to mount the tires on the rims that came with the Ferris? How much was the tires and rims?
The tires on is3200z are 26-12-12. So i will only need tires. Mike
The rims are Ferris which were silly expensive maybe $100 a rim tires were a little more. To save money mount the tires on your Ferris rims I was sure the experiment would would work.
Where did you get the 121 carlisle versa turf tire from?
The manufacturer refereed me to discount tire
Any more turf damage than the stock tires when making fast sharp turns?
Only in very wet conditions and usually operator error not doing a K turn.
how do they compare to the standard turf tires as far as leaving tracks and tear up on the lawn? would you recommend for a hybrid solution for when more traction is needed on hills but still doing a good job on mostly flat lawns?
Versa Turf is fantastic...i think it's much better than a standard turn tire. It's a radial tire with great traction in slippery conditions...how much better than you stock tires...is the traction value to you? I can answer, we may be installing this type of tire on our new 5090M tractor. Stay safe.

Can I ask why you went 26x12x12 instead of 24x12x12 like the stock tires?
This tires diameter was within a 1/4” of the stock tires. I’m very please with the results. Thank you for watching 🙂

how do they do when turning around 180, do they tear the grass up much.
I believe unless you do a "K" turn any tire will damage the lawn. They are pretty good I have no issues but I'm sure when I get sloppy on my turns they do more damage than a turf tire. I'm good with it. Be safe and thank you.
Those are actually good tires did you have any problems getting them put on and air into them? The Ferris mowers are top line but man i can't seem to save that much cash. But i did get a cub cadet that has not let me down.
No issues with the tires. Cub cadet was the premium tractor when I was a kid and still a great machine you are very luck. Ride safe 🙂
What did you end up using for wheel torque?
I can’t remember I think it is in the Ferris manual. This is an awesome tire highly recommend them 🙂

Just saw your comment. Yes I purchased a Ferris and love it. The suspension and power is amazing. Hard for me not to buy Deere, but the Ferris for me was a better fit.. I hope you are well.
What is the exact size of the Carlisle Versa Turf tires you have?
I can't remember but i do mention it in the video...I'm getting old. The work great on this mower and I get stuck much less.

Where did you order the new wheels from?
The tires I purchased from Discount tire...they were very hard to find the manufacturer had to help me. The rims I purchased from my Ferris dealer.
You would have to recalibrate the deck level for proper cut with that size difference
Correct I leveled the deck and the front is slightly lower than the back. It does need to be recalibrated as the cut is 3 1/4” but the deck level indicates 3 1/2”. Thank you stay healthy 🙂

@@countryboys4457 my experience with the versa turf tires has been excellent. I’m stunned more viewers don’t ask questions like yours. You know ant tire can scuff a lawn on a zt if the operator is aggressive...sometimes I go to fast and slow down abruptly and she’ll scuff...same with K turns if I not focused. I’m very pleased with the tires...I think they’re better on the hills than stock tires 👍
I want to buy these but I know I'll be tempted to mow when its way too wet and will probably make an even bigger mess than normal.
Jesse you are smart...as that can happen and make a mess. The operator has to learn form experience not to get stuck. The tires definitely help and are awesome on grass.

No but there's a lot of other critters, deer, woodchucks, racoon, fisher cats, musk rats, coyotes, more deer. The tires are amazing. Be safe...don't mow in a creek...
You don't want to go by the other tire pressure. Whatever the tire says, do that minus a lb or so. It's not like a truck tire.

Why did you choose the Ferris over the Deere? I did demo a Ferris and wow the suspension is night and day difference. I am choosing to put the suspension forks on my Deere to see if that improves the ride.
Race i was frustrated the JD only offered a Kohler engine on the fuel injected mowers. JD almost hides the engine brand in their literature. Also the JD other than the tweet tires was old technology. So i stumbled onto the Ferris, was fascinated by the suspension, then I researched the American made fuel injected Briggs engine with 6 quarts of oil, researched where the engine was made in texas, and the mower is made in New York State...very impressed with all. The suspension saved my back, the engine sounds like a harley. I use the mower as a brush hog. I'm extremely impressed with the Ferris...my neighbor bought a 28hp Ferris, my dealer told me that usually happens. I put versa turf radial tires on it, which made the ride even better, and the traction amazing. I'm a John Deere guy, but love my Ferris demo one and you'll understand. My awesome John Deere dealer was very understanding, great dealership. I hope this helps, stay safe and thank you for supporting my channel.

I believe Hustler will probably wind up putting those kind of tires on them from the factory.
@@altonrowell613 don’t feel bad it has happened to me. This was my first zero turn and I had no idea how easy they are to get stuck. I’ve been there. These tires did help a lot though.🙂

Like you’re vids but there’s a point that almost all Americans try to make a point about is there property or land they own that their grandparents stole from natives
I never made that point nor would I. I paid for my land, bill of sale title done very legal. BTW I also did not buy it from my grandparents. We mustn't kid ourselves it's unfortunate decades ago land was taken from natives, throughout the world especially in Europe. As a student of world history the big difference is in other places in the world it happened just before and after Christ...we can't be so righteous to think any of us are more pure than the other...Thank you for watching and please be safe.
Natives stole land from raped and murdered each other all the time. Only difference is Europeans took a boat to get here. All very unfortunate but morally no different. I say that as someone with native ancestors but I still have to call BS when I see it.

I would not mow that area with my hustler Super Z , it weighs about 1100 pounds. It doesn't matter what tire you put on a heavy mower, you are going to tear up the area. If I felt that I absolutely HAD to mow there , I would get a smaller /lighter mower. I'm no Archimedes but I figured that out long ago. That is why LGP( low ground pressure) dozers have wider tracks than dozers used in mines , and other hard packed areas.
You do have nice grass between the ruts though.
The Ferris weighs over 1600lbs it’s a pig. The tires make it more capable on my property but not invincible. The tires are more aggressive on my lawn and do dig in wet areas…I think they have performed well on this machine but not for everyone. Thank you 😊
