I found one cheap at Wal online and don't know how I lived without it. Chain comes off mine really easy but I just keep the included wrench handy. 2 giant forsythias, 2 highbush cranberrys, a lilac and a satanic dogwood/honeysuckle abomination have fallen to this (with a regular electric chainsaw to saw flat the root balls). Now I want an extension chainsaw too! Thanks for the review!

They are awesome a lot of utility. That would be nice to have pole saw like that also! There’s a few extended ones right now for like 35. My chain is tight though and it actually has a tensioner screw like a regular chainsaw bar.

Yeah, it was hard to pass up for the price of the day. I’ve used it and drained the battery three times now. I would like to pick up a spare battery, but I was surprised how long it lasted on one charge. I was very happy to see that my last video picked me up over 500 subs that video got 47,000 views I hope next time more of them 40,000 viewers if that subscribe button thanks for coming back again. I appreciate the comment.

Because I like your channel a lot, I'm gonna give you some tips that will make you want to name your first male child after me. I'm kidding, sort of.
I don't own this particular model, but I have owned a very similar one for several years and mine didn't come with a chain guard, and if you think about it, why would it if a gigantic gasoline engine powered one doesn't. This is much smaller, slower and stops as soon as you let of the trigger. I said all that to set you up for this. Take the guard off. You will be able to go through that large log must easier without it. You should be able to cut a limb that is twice the length of your exposed chain. You will be able to see your cuts much better as you make them and you will be able to plunge and cut up from under your log or limb.
You don't need a lot of oil for these because they go so slow and any oil will work, even canola oil, if it's all you have. One thing that will give you problems, I've found, is cutting really small limbs off of a larger limb. It just doesn't buzz through a 3/4" branch very well, especially if it's attached to a larger limb that's free to move a lot because it isn't attached to the tree either. It will just sort of hang and tear/chew the thing off. And that brings me to my second piece of advice. Find a battery powered parrot bill pruning shear that uses the same battery.
I have a saw of one brand and a pruner of a different brand, but because they all seem to come from the same factory in China, the batteries interchange, no prob! I bought the pruners for about the same price as the saw and it will cut almost 1" dead dry branches in one or two trigger pulls, green stuff is even easier. I use those two tools when I go camping to process firewood from the forest and at home I saw and snip all the limbs that fall out of my 4 Maple trees every time the wind blows a little, it seems. I burn that stuff in a fire ring on the patio. The 1" and smaller stuff gets bundled together with annealed bailing wire, (which I retrieve from the fire and reuse) and the bundle burns like a log.
If it's a girl child, Joan will suffice. 😉😂

Haha 🤣 I would have to name my 4th after you because I already am a father of 3.i thought the guard was stupid and I did intend on taking it off but at the same time I was worried that UA-cam they have a problem with me modifying safety mechanism on a hand tool I will eventually use the supplied screwdriver to remove the safety guard. I do appreciate all the information and the awesome comment. I am going to look for one of those pruners you speak of, and I would love to have a spare battery or two I did notice there are a bunch of different brands of these things on Amazon know which batteries are compatible would be awesome thanks again for the comment. I appreciate it and hope to see you back for more.

@@whitetailsurvival2430 Those pruners are great for snipping small branches to the perfect size for your twig stove/ mini tent stove or to make quick tent pegs or to lop off the long small limbs that might make it hard to drag a log back to camp. It is just a really handy thing to take, combined with the mini chain saw, along with you on a car camping trip. If you're an old man, like me, they are even more valuable because of the labor they save you. I can't count the number of dead sassafras trees that I've pushed over in the woods, drug out of the forest and cut into really nice logs for the fire ring back at camp. Crazy useful!
