Remember also that real STOIC men feel their feelings and emotions... dont suppress them but dont express them without first observing them. Otherwise emotions can come out in an ugly way that is reactive and not responsive.

I'd like to also add that it is important when and/or to whom you express your feelings and emotions. E.g., if something really bad happens it is ok to go back to your home/car and maybe cry or scream by yourself and in private, but do not do that in front of your woman - as an example scenario, of course there might be (rare) exceptions.

In my experience, meditation is key in practicing stoicism. I know a lot people have their doubts about it but commit to just 10 minutes a day long enough for it and stuff will start to change, namely your ability to process an emotion. Instead of having a thought and getting overwhelmed by the emotion that comes with it, You'll start to simply just observe and let the thought/emotion pass or you will feel much more in control of them. Genuinely the best thing I did for my own mental and happiness

    Friday night 22 October 2021.
    Being STOIC = non-reactive
    1. The masculine fundamental of "NOT CARING"
    -Indifferent to external circumstances
-Not emotionally volatile (i.e. screaming at the TV news, sports or screaming at significant other about nothing, screaming at their parents because they don't like the situation, pissed off at their boss, then they are angry and go home a look at pornography on the internet)
    -Less stress
-Faster success because you are "FEELING LESS"
    2. No reaction
    -business
    -bills
-dominance hierarchy (self-worth not in pay check)
    3. Women
    - Man says "Ok."
    - Man says "No."
    -Man says "I don't care."
"When men misbehave (BETA, weak), women dump them. When women misbehave, men try to fix them." -Casey Zander
The scary super power - I CANNOT BE MOVED, I don't care.

35 days no alcohol, 23 years old. It hasn’t been easy. However, I didn’t like the idea of having to rely on a substance to deal with stress. I’m currently reading Marcus Aurelius’s book “Meditations”, eating clean, hitting the gym. Living paycheck to paycheck, digging myself out of a rut caused by my addiction to booze. I just tell myself, I’ll be alright. And I’ve been alright. Thank you for your content.

As a woman… this is tremendous advice. I think for me as well… not reacting to external circumstances…if we continue to do this - to react- our power is completely out of our control. We must know ourselves and our value and our values… a situación happens and so we need to RESPOND and not react. I have a fantastic man in my life and there is so much stuff going on in his life but he is unflappable. He expresses his thoughts and even his feelings about each situation, but he doesn’t get shaken… he usually will say ‘I need a couple of days to think this through’ and I say ‘you have all the skills and knowledge so I do not doubt you will come up with the right solution.’ … and he does…

There is an old German study, about children. Where if a child grows up in a stable two parent household until the age of 7, it will be extremely difficult to control him. The conclusion of this study was that if you want to control a man in his later life, destroy the circumstances in his early life 0-7. If you want a population of weak men, destroy the family unit. Now think about todays society, Casey you do good work, but some people might just be beyond the help due to early life circumstances. The system or system of values that creates weak men must be removed and replaced by force if need be.

Watching this video I finally got to the point where I completely understand the STOICISM. Being calm and collected 99% of situations is NOT STOICISM. 99% is NOT ENOUGH. You must be rock solid 100% of the time, 100% of all situations. No hesitation, no doubt. Of course there are failures and setbacks but you must always keep your head up and move forward.
Recently a girl stopped texting me out of nowhere and I didn't get it. I started doubting myself and probably missed an opportunity to just apply stoicism to keep moving forward without overthinking it.

Been adjusting my diet over the last couple months, mood swings have gone way down, the feeling of urgency/impending doom has gone way down, now I can just see what's happening, and make a decision. Has been pretty great.

I agree completely - when you start being indifferent to the things you cannot control, you’re going to see your life change for the better.
Most people go through life Suffering because they’re constantly worrying about things they cannot change.
And that’s exactly what it is: It’s Suffering - instead you should focus and spend your energy on things you’re in control of.
And see how productive you become, it’s ultimately your choice… What are you going to choose? Suffering or being Productive?
    Anyway, that’s my two cents.

    Right on Casey.
Sidenote: It's important for many, including myself, to realise that the difference between agreeing with Stoicism in theory and applying it in practice are two completely different worlds.
I thought I had a bunch of it figured out because I knew many Stoic principles in theory, but I have still encountered many rude awakenings from day to day life that show me I haven't mastered it yet in practice and still react in ways that are very much non-Stoic and emotional (e.g. when receiving suboptimal results from my study or when noticing decreased interest in a female I'm interacting with. In both scenario's I reacted in emotional manners, when I should have just been accepting of these things. Luckily I didn't do anything to notify the girl of my emotional state, I know better than that, but I would still like to respond more appropriately purely for myself).
Thanks for the reminder through this video.

It's such an easy mistake to think "I need to become high-value, I need to make money, I need to hit the gym, I need to have the hot girl, and then I can feel complete and happy." What is most important is your inner strength, your self esteem. Liking yourself and your life so that you don't NEED women and can just let them go. Ironically, this seems to be the most attractive quality in a man. Few UA-camrs highlight it like that.

The way of the superior man by David deida is definitely a book which is quite out dated it seems. I’m reading it right now and it says that when a women is having moods or is acting out as the man you must “give your love to your deepest core” in order to fix the mood. I questioned it at first and I don’t know if it applies to modern relationships.

Hmm I think theres times to use both philosophies, I think you can embody the love in yourself in a ‘non-caring way’ like you still got love in your heart for people but they go over the line and wrong you don’t get reactive and don’t let it lower your vibration. I think stoicism and modern spirituality can clash sometimes however they both contain many truths, you just gotta find the one which pertains to the situation at hand.

Love is playful and fun, so remaining stoic and not being moved off center is what I believe he means. The feminine turns a small problem into a huge problem, so the masculine turns that huge problem back into small problem. I’m not talking about fixing character traits, but remaining loving when the feminine is testing you or when the feminine is reacting dramatically to something.

While I mostly agree, I think there needs to be a balance of heart and mind. I have seen too many men cut out their heart and get their way, they get what they want, but they turn into abusive assholes unworthy of having a partner in their life. Yes, we can not allow our self to be ruled by our emotions, but neither can we deny them and still remain human.

Can anyone suggest books or websites you visit regularly to further your personal development and sense of stoicism? Don't hold back. Could help a lot of folks here. By helping others, we can help ourselves -- mutual trade.
I would suggest looking up some of Eric Greitens' books. You may not agree with him politically (let alone some of his more recent political controversies), but the knowledge and insight of a former Navy SEAL could very well be universally useful.

I been dealing with a girl who broke up with me, I said ok, 6 weeks no contact she’s back. Then she threatened to break up again, i said ok. She can’t move me and she has to fall into my frame because of it 😂. Wether I continue to deal with this I’m still not sure.
