God loves His children, which includes every person ever born. Each of us lived in a pre-mortal world as a spirit before being born and gaining a physical body. God’s plan for every person is to come to Earth, make their own choices about what to do and what kind of person to be, and hopefully return to live with God again. Because God is perfect and holy, nothing that is imperfect or unholy can exist in His presence. As all people are imperfect, that would make living with God again impossible. This is where God’s infinite love comes into play.
God loves His children so much that He provided a Savior, His Son Jesus Christ, as a perfect man who would come to Earth and take away our sins, if we choose to follow Him. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as Mormons, understand that God’s commandments are given as an expression of His love. God does want us to follow His commandments, but His love is not is earned. God’s love is freely given to all of us no matter what choices we make, because we are His children. No one is past the point of receiving or feeling the love of God in their lives.

God loves us so much, he commissioned Jesus to build a world, with each and every individual in mind. Yes, he made, things in your life now, specifically for you.
Hi Daniel, thanks for your question. We believe Jesus Christ created the heavens and the earth under the direction of Heavenly Father. The creation is an integral part of Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation. It gives each of us the opportunity to come to the earth, where we receive a physical body and exercise our agency. "God's love isn't something we earn." We are unprofitable servants, yet Jesus still invites, and even pleads for us to be yoked with Him, even though He knows it is an unequal partnership. Praise to the Father, Son and Holy Ghost!
King Benjamin Yet it requires works and obeying specific practices (i.e. marriage) to reach higher levels of exaltation. So it seems that it is.

-John 3:16-17
These are some of my favorite scriptures, because they remind us not only that God loves us with all his heart might mind and strength, but that we each have a divine purpose and destiny! What a wonderful plan God has for us his children!

So I didn't go to the ER for 3 weeks but was suffering and when I finally went they told me i shouldn't be here that I should of died but somehow it healed itself. For real all glory to God i owe him my life.
Yes God loves his children very much
Who are his children?
Thanks for your question, Cedric. We believe we are all literally children of God, spiritually begotten in the premortal life. As His children, He loves us very much and we can be assured that we have divine, eternal potential and that He will help us in our sincere efforts to reach that potential. Worry about whether YOU love God. The rest will take care of itself.
Sure its gotta love all BUT. it does NOT have to like you. ❤
I like Mormon teachings even if I don't believe it all. I'm catholic and I see two similarities, 1) faith + expiation of sin for salvation, and 2) afterlife progress.
Thanks
Have a hood day
I did not know that Catholics teach afterlife progress

PLEASE PEOPLE JUST MAKE LOVING VIDEOS OF GOD AND CHRIST WITHOUT NEGATIVITY IN IT.
What do you mean by that?
Is god & Jesus the same thing?
Hi @leo prior. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three physically separate beings, but fully one in love, purpose and will. You or others interested can learn more about our beliefs regarding the Godhead here: ua-cam.com/video/K8_LsqXCaz8/v-deo.html Regarding our worship of the Savior, Jesus Christ is the central figure in the doctrine and practice of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is the Redeemer. Jesus explained that “no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the source of truth and redemption, as the light and life of the world, as the way to the Father (John 14:6; 2 Nephi 25:29; 3 Nephi 11:11). We worship Him in that we look to Him for deliverance and redemption and seek to emulate His matchless life (D&C 93:12-20). @John g No, not polytheism. Did you follow the links provided by the Church of Jesus Christ above or study the passages of scripture provided as references?
"Tranquility trump's pain?"
Oh you say that so easily. What do you KNOW of pain? Unbearable pain? Physical AND emotional.
And, forgive me but, quotes do not help, unless you're quoting the Gospel.
"Here we DECIDE to be happy or sad??"
I could never, nor would I, speak in such terms. Especially not to one like myself.
Did the Christ speak to us like that?
You might as well have said. . "It's all in your head". You see, there are situations so cruel, incredibly so, and so lacking in help or any kind of support, truly, it seems you know little of what is reality.
I love you, though I am... sorry, .. I Used to be a devout Catholic.
I lived and worked happily in Rome. I twice encountered Mormons there, both times in Villa Borghese. Memories of wonderful conversations, fun, even funny. There was always a mutual love and respect and the desire to meet on that level where He is.
I've entered now a bad time which gets worse each day. My only companionship two kitties.
I'd hoped this sight would be a help....
Hi Mary Lou, we're sorry to hear you have experienced so much pain and sorrow. While no person may fully understand what you are going through, we know the Savior Jesus Christ loves you and knows perfectly your pain and suffering. We encourage you to tune in to a special message right here on UA-cam this Friday, November 20 at 11am MT from president and prophet of the Church, Russell M. Nelson. The video will will focus on ways we can find hope and healing through Jesus Christ during this time of significant global fracture and instability, and we hope it helps you. Take care.
Mary Lou, some of us have indeed experienced great and lasting pain. I'm sorry you're going through such difficulties right now. Life is really, really hard sometimes. I read what you wrote, and I'd like to provide some thoughts that I hope will be helpful for you. The statement that "tranquility trumps pain" doesn't mean that the pain is unimportant, but rather than God can provide a peace that becomes more important to us. While we certainly can't just wish sadness and pain away, we do make choices all the time that bring either happiness or sadness into our lives. When you refer to the Gospel, I think you're referring to scripture, which is God's word as given by ancient prophets. The quotations shown in this video were also the words of prophets, either in scripture or from a living prophet. Living prophets are here to help us by bringing us closer to Jesus Christ, who knows all of our pain and can bring us real peace. Please keep seeking peace and knowledge. I encourage you to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ at ComeUntoChrist.org or ChurchOfJesusChrist.org.
Life can be really difficult. And I will echo the word of the other repliers to your comment that I can’t know exactly what you are going through, but I do know about pain and sadness that doesn’t go away. I suffer from major depression, a ptsd-like anxiety, and fibromyalgia. I combat with pain, sadness/emptiness , and fear on a daily basis.
Yet despite all that, I know God loves me. His love gives me hope when I have none. His love gives me the strength to push on and live my life even if my brain is telling me to give up. I know that because He loves me someday I will return to live with Him. There I will be happy and whole, and all the struggles I had to combat to get there will be more than worth it.
I will say a prayer for you and hope that you may find the hope and joy that comes from feeling God’s love for you.
Hi Mary Lou,
I'm sorry to hear that your going through a lot of pain and suffering.
You are correct that I don't completely understand your pain, or afflictions. Jesus Christ does understand those things perfectly however. I've struggled with several disabilities my whole life, including: major depression, anxiety, OCD, ADD/ADHD, autism, tourette syndrome, and some physical ones. I understand a little what you are going through. In the Book of Mormon it not only talks about how Jesus Christ suffered for our sins, but it says he also suffered for our sicknesses, pains, and afflictions. (Alma 7:11-13)
Although I suffer pain daily, I like Job in the Bible know that my Redeemer liveth, and that Christ will fix us broken people on this broken, earth. When we look back on our lives after we finish the course, it will seem like a blink compared with eternity. You should try not only to read the Bible daily, and say prayers of gratitude for the things you do have, but I'd encourage you to prayerfully study a little bit of the Book of Mormon daily also.
Remember that God loves you very very much, and you are very important to him!
God bless you sister!
The old man only sees us as his toys and enjoys watching us suffer. He is the source of all the evil and suffering in the world, and has taken everything from me. Even if I end up being tortured for the rest of the ethernity or I simply get erased from existence, I promise that I'll fight him to my last breath. You may laugh at me, but no matter the odds, I'll do everything in my power to put someone worthty on his throne.
Thanks for your comment, Kirxas. We're sorry for the challenges and hardships you've experienced in life. It can be difficult to understand why God allows bad things to happen, or how he can allow people to hurt and harm others. We don’t have all the answers, but we know that using God-given agency, we chose to come to earth for the opportunity to experience mortality and ultimately become more like our Heavenly Father, knowing and accepting it would involve pain and difficulty. Our loving Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins and help us find meaning and happiness despite life’s trials. Jesus Christ is coming soon!! He loves you and wants a relationship with you!! Repent or perish!!
Neither Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism, orthodoxy, Mormonism, Jehovah’s witnesses etc will save you! Only by the blood of Jesus and his grace. There is ONE way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ!
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
We are only saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8), but remember that obedience to the Father is a part of your faith. Faith without works is dead, and your works is the fruit you are bearing and the reflection of your heart. Prove your faith in Christ by your fruit and bear always good fruit 7 days a week! Not just on Sundays at church, but all the time wherever you are!! Be also baptized in Jesus’ almighty name for the remission of your sins and raise up to new life in Christ. That is what Jesus meant with being born again in John 3. By crucifying our old selves and our sins and to raise up to new life in Christ! Your baptism is your declaration to the World that you are now a disciple of Christ! Only the name of Jesus can save us!! I love you who read this and care about you!! Otherwise I would not take my time to write this!! Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and trust in him and his work on the cross. Repent and turn from your wicked ways and be baptized both in water and in spirit!! Then continue your journey in Christ and make disciples!! Pray for me that I will be allowed to get baptized soon!!
God bless you from a 15 year old Swedish/Finnish ex-Mormon:)
Thanks.
Mormonism? there is no such thing. It is the Church of Jesus Christ, and that teaches exactly what you say about Jesus, and grace etc.
Not everyone is God’s child according to the Bible.
There's more than one meaning to the term "son of God". We all were His children in Heaven before coming to Earth, and now here He still loves all of us. The Bible and other scripture affirm this truth.
We certainly don't always act like His children, do we. "All we like sheep have gone astray"
@@00Fisher00 So what is the significance of being a child of God?
@@cedricburkhart3738 We are children of God in more than one sense, and there's meaning in both. First, the fact that He was our spiritual Father before we were born means that we have divine potential. Though at times we may feel small or unworthy--we may even sometimes feel like we don't matter at all--there is a possibility for each of us to become much more than we can imagine. However, as we enter mortal life, we experience the pitfalls of mortality--most notably, sin, which separates us from God. We also become the children of Christ (God the Son) through baptism and confirmation in the Church of Jesus Christ, which gives us strength to reach our eternal destiny. Please let me know if that is a helpful answer and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
