Man, I have followed this build from day one. The highs, the lows, the restarts. It feels good to see you finally enjoying the rewards of your efforts. I've gone the FA20 route with my WRX and it has been a hell of a journey. But I can't wait to get it finished and on the road. This build has definitely been an inspiration.

Tanner I've watched this build from the start. I own a 15 wrx fully built ( excluding the turbo and intake manifold ), GD 07 STi, and an 08 SG Forester for my daughter and I's daily. Your channel has given me loads of insight into all the platforms Subaru can offer. This specific build though...is special. Sending you all the blessings to keep this thing on the road. It's such an amazing build! Godspeed sir.
I'm going Full forged short block build, pistons, rods, Studs, how much power did your OEM tranny took? I'm going full E85 with a FBO build but dunno what is the OEM tranny limit
Everything you listed will get you to 500 with an upgraded clutch. The OEM trans is not as "glass cannon" as the older WRXs. The TQ is what these drivetrains don't like. The clutches go before the trans. My pro-tuner said he's seen 400HP builds running strong and healthy for 8 years with the TQ below 350. My car runs 390HP/340TQ on e60 blend for almost 5 years now on the stock clutch. I don't launch or anything stupid but I drive spirited. Full STi swaps are pretty cheap now for the VA I see them sell all day 3k-4k. Swap it over and you're good for 800 to the wheels.@@juanmanuelvillarreal4730
@@juanmanuelvillarreal4730the OEM WRX tranny can handle torque, its just the risk you run with not upgrading to an STI transmission. My WRX 6MT is starting to shit itself right now (380 whp / 355 wtq), I was not very careful with it and now my 3rd gear is starting to go. That being said, I’ve seen people get away with 430 wtq on these transmissions and not have a single problem, but they were VERY careful with them. Like I said, you’re just running a risk when you’re not upgrading your transmission, keyword *risk*. If you want a bulletproof transmission/drivetrain and not have to worry about breaking shit or making mistakes and blaming yourself for your tranny taking a dump then I would go and opt for the STI transmission, just my two cents.

@@Smeedia Than a 150gal you could be totally fine with in active season, but I think discount at certain amounts for deliveries.
I feel like white would look clean af on the 07!
everytime i hear that eg start i have an ear to ear grin lol. Also should def wrap the 07, i bet a nice deep purple or green would look so good on the carbon and white wheels
Excellent pov drive video Tanner, the power and sound being shown is top notch.
Thing sounds nuts 😅
No wrap on the 07, just oem + world rally blue fenders
So glad I got to tune in for you driving slow! I GET IT BUT I DON'T
For a wrap color olive drab would look 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥imo everyone does a black don’t get me wrong it looks awesome but I think going outside the comfort zone makes a huge difference my man but either way you will make anything look awesome so keep up the awesome content and work.
Kinda debating British racing green 😅
@@Smeedia make it happen buddy hahahah excited to see whatever you choose
The EG33 is sick I have been watching it from when u first got the car .the o7 u should do it white love white
Nice! Sounds so good! Iam happy for you man! How is the extra weight in the front feel in corners?
Tbh I can’t even notice it, the car feels pretty planted so far
@@Smeedia awesome! Enjoy it!
I just got my sti wrapped Friday
What color you go with 👀
I’ll send it to you on IG
3m black rose wrap for the hawkeye!
I would love to see what the '07 would look like in the classic 'woodland green' that was on my '98 coupe
Tbh was debating British racing green 😅
Gotta keep the wrb car wrb. Maybe wrap the black roof and wing bar black/carbon and have the best of both worlds. Also gotta get me one of those PDR kits.
That PDR kit is kinda hit or miss, works okay on some dents 😅
Sweet it’s done! Now let’s do a whistlin diesel style durability test.
Launch it off a house lmao
Clean build happy for you , wish you could build my 2017 Subaru
How much hp before it needs a ice tank in the trunk is the next question. I think you should just carbon wrap the flares. A lot less work and it would still look great.
Tbh the car would prob benefit from one now 😅
how about a matte metallic purple for the wrap?? I think That could potentially look sick! or a blue-purple colorshift with the white wheels!
13:27 can't believe you're giving out this content for free 😂
