Lennart Green is king, he shouldn't be playing to a small audience that don't appreciate what he is saying. He is incredibly funny and a great original magician. Fantastic routine ...
I find it funny how everyone is so concerned with his rope gag trick but yet the things he does with cards is way cooler. Btw the main trick he does here is called rainman.
For starters, there's no basis for your claim "everyone". Secondly, those who comment on that might understand how the card tricks are done, but clueless to how the rope thing is done.
Also just realised your comment is four years old. But hopefully since then you've come off your high horse and hopefully didn't get hurt on the way down.
They’re laymen. So what if you can pull off a complicated trick from a book that took you 12 months to master? A simple rope trick that you mastered in a week can be even more magical. It’s about creating magic in the eye of the spectator. That’s the problem with pseudo magicians, they think technical skill is everything lol Having said that, Lennart Green is a master magician.
I suppose that he has a spot in the long rope where it can be torn apart easily and a short rope that is already around his waist. He places himself in front of the spot, tears the long rope apart, simultaneously grabs the two loose ends of the short rope around his waist in each hand and performs the rest. Note that after the trick he is still holding the rope in his fists (trying not to let go since it would reveal the loose ends) and quickly jumbles the rope(s) together.Still, very impressive!
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Seriously, don't read on if you don't want the illusion to be ruined. The rope trick is done by having a length of rope already around his waist and then cutting the original rope when he is stood in front of it. After he does that then he simply holds all both ropes together in his hands. Notice how he doesn't let go of the rope after it 'goes through' him. I don't know if that makes any sense but just think that there are two ropes and that one is already around his waist from the beginning, then you should be able to figure it out.
Thats true but he was claiming to use misdirection to fool them but it was all burnable slight of hand. Comparing James Brown or Apollo Robbins for example then his routine uses a shameful amount of misdirection to truly demonstrate it.
I like James Brown a lot more. I haven't seen Apollo do that much magic actually, I didn't like Cultural Exchange. I agree if you burn Green you can catch 99% of it. Not the most deceptive magician out there.
Unpopular opinion: This is a pretty unpolished performance, complete with weak patter, suspicious moves, and a couple flashes. Eg, see beginning when he puts the four 10s faceup on top of the facedown deck for no good reason before separating the packet again; just when eyes of scrutiny are on this suspicious action, he flashes a card sleight. This is an intermediate card trick employing intermediate moves, based on a trick called oil & water. It's something a beginner should be able to perform after a solid month or two's practice.

Agree...The humour...Nd the presentation...So natural looking...Not like people like shin lim and other magicians of modern era. ..
I agree. I think he is the greatest ever and I thoroughly enjoy his humor.
I truly cannot understand how this act is possible. He’s got real powers is the only answer ha
That 4 Ace trick is utter beauty
I love this guy ! So talented, funny an amazing with cards.
The audience is terrible, it feels like they dont understand what he is doing.
yeah totally . I really felt sorry for him
absolute beast!!! the best ever in card tricks!!

What is the crazy background noise from 0 to 2:45?!
Absolutely brilliant 👏👏👏
LEGEND,one of the best‼️
It's funny that the first guy won't stop talking about misdirection but there's actually no misdirection at all in his routine.
Not even his routine, it's Caleb Wiles'
Maestro assoluto. 🔝
er ist am besten Kartentricks Zauberer, 这是最棒的纸牌魔术师
They do not deserve such a great man. Shame on them !
Lennert is a genius and that audience should be put in jail.
I love this man!
I love the idea with the aces cut, so simple and yet convincing. is it his trick?
Threw me off. I was fully expecting a triumph routine.
The first guy used sleight of hand rather than misdirection, I realised after, but I was always looking for it, so maybe that WAS the misdirection.
What a great set thank you for posting :)
@SevenCircles: No, it's Patrick Stenberg's and can be found in "Talk about tricks" by Joshua Jay
The best part is how the guy pretended to understand everything he just said
the only things i know are the 2 final tricks with the aces...all the rest is real magic for me! XD
lennart green is a magical and comedic Eisenstein
"Don't believe the things you read in books" - Lennart Green
What do you think we can learn from that?
the assistant guy is horrible
Sleight of hand visible at 15:24
Your comment is 4 years old but for others to see. What do you mean? I know the trick 'Rainman', you don't need sleight of hand with that trick.

this is what I figured too. He may just be cutting the rope behind his back with hidden scissors

***** You're more than welcome!
The first guy is a bit nervous i think
At 9:20 how did he do that with the rope?
single piece tucked into back of his trousers, magnet in the middle of the main rope
I keep on replaying 9:18 but I have no idea how this is done.
that camera angle tho for Lennart's stuff a no-no
he managed to cover with the deck in the last laser deal
Poor audience can ruins anything.
LENNART... GENIUS!!!
Yes he is....:-) Absolutely original and great performer...My most favorite card magician ever together with magician Bill Malone...:-)
@@kouzelnikreno5672 he is also a doctor
Nice Rainman effect!
There's misdirection in EVERY Magician's Magic.
The guy at the beginning reminds me of johnny Samoa haha
I do beautiful it is. And i agree with ur statement as well dude.
That camera angle didnt help at all at 18:30 lol. So ur right :)) Good sleights otherwise
What is that background noise?.
18:30 one tiny flaw...
How does lenert green do such stuffs
The first guy who performs looks like he is a Vietnamese gangster who asks protection money from casinos. Watch out for him.
nothing is as it seems with Lennart Green.
I cry :D
(hint): the rope is a little longer at the end of the trick.
I didnt like him very much the first guy of course
the second -lennart- is very good and entertaining in a special way I believe
Интересно Ричард Тернер так же может колодой управлять? он такую мишанину не показывал
I know how he does it (Magic)
Just the worst ever filming of sleight of hand, truly worthy of global note, well done TEDx
you don't find this ironic?
Thats true but he was claiming to use misdirection to fool them but it was all burnable slight of hand. Comparing James Brown or Apollo Robbins for example then his routine uses a shameful amount of misdirection to truly demonstrate it.
What a zombie crowd
tough croud

Круто конечно, но не люблю такой стиль работы с картами. Как-то все неуклюже и не очень красиво.
Swedes don't appreciate magic Swedes, same with ABBA --- hello protestantism
I laugh at the irony!
What's up with those horrible background sounds!!!?
Norrkoping citizen. sense of humor: no
The cards are loaded, in a single deck he got duplicate cards.
You need to do more research regarding Adam and Eve before displaying your ignorance or else enlightened people may call you Piltdown Man.
