what about with diode lasers? this video is great if you have a co2 how about diode
It literally explains that in the video
I think I'd have better luck if I knew what the image should look like, like what the gamma/other settings do and how much should they be altered. And what should I be looking for in an altered image?
I agree i think teaching the tools and what they do so we can get the concept knowing how changing one thing changes another to get the best results so we can look at an image and say ok i ned to change this or that to get this.. that woud be a much better tutrial in my opinion. Ie if you have diode or IR or Co2 or Fiber then this is the workflow.. that you need to do to achive this result. or the aim is to make blacks more black or white more white or by using the inver otion or gamma ou get my point. so many options that i am lsot like am i doing this right and i give up trying.. casuse it comes out jsut ok or not atall with the odd win here and there.. thats my rant anyway lol it look great in your video but i still dont think i would get the results your getting casu every image is different. but i will try it.
That is exactly what we explain here. We even show a side by side at the end between diode and co2 prepared images. Exactly what you describe is what we did here.
And we can‘t give you a rule for all images. But you can see very well how we prepare them. Sometimes you need more gamma to fix the blacks, sometimes less, like on the charizard. Like we explain in all wood tutorials, increase gamma for co2, it doesn‘t matter for diode or fiber. That‘s all you have to keep in mind.
@@ImagR-Laser I find it hard to know what we are aiming for though and what's being engraved. Is it the whites that are being engraved or the blacks. When it's inverted to not inverted.
I Wil figure it one day at present using xcs and lightburn but for the f1 it im using there Jarvis and sliders. As I can't put pass though on that yet anyway. Only when I use blue laser on my falcon laser.
Is this software free?
I have a question, do you start with a grayscale picture or do you start with a black-and-white picture? Looks like the pictures that you started with, are really fine quality to begin with and look like they were prepped to be either grayscale or black-and-white something like that.
good video nice for you to show us
but I have some issues im using s 10w diode
like you say change values but how to know what to change to
also the images look great on the software as done some but when lasered they were horrible
So proof is in the pudding
Meaning it would be nice to see the results from the laser engraving/etching itself
What if your using a D1 20W Xtool?
Great video explained your process well, the only thing that would improve this would be if you called out what you were selecting and hovered over it before clicking to give your viewers time to find what you're doing and follow along.
Thanks, Mark
I was under the mistaken impression that getting a better engraving was mostly about choosing the right algorithm. I now know a LOT more, and I appreciate your posting this tutorial.
Your app is continually crashing in Mac. I have downloaded the correct version for my processor
Is there somewhere where I can see glowforge language? Y’all are way over my head! lol
Very nice, thanks so much, look froward to using this a lot
Excellent video just what I needed
Thanks for sharing
my offline version does not have the color change function that allows for change do I need to upgrade?
under advanced settings click the number 2
Thank you for this because I've been struggling with adjusting images
excellent thankyou for the tips luki 🙂
Thank you so much! This solved exactly the problem I was having with an image!
Interesting video that looks like it has good effect, but your image promoting the video is very misleading as it is certainly not one click, but about 50 clicks to get to the end result.
We are talking about the shading and detail effect, which is basically 1 click :)
Of course you need more clicks to set the correct image size etc :)
@@ImagR-Laserthen why click bait your title. The other guy is right. You simply lie in your title to get views.
Very good. I learn a loy from this video.
I love ImagR 🙌 ! I use it with my cO2 laser. I bought the lifetime offline version about a year ago. It looks like there’s different features added in this video. Is there an updated version since last year? If so, how do I update etc. I wish there was a feature to lighten and darken specific isolated areas in a picture. Any way.. ImagR is AWESOME. Thank you very much for making such a fantastic product!!!
Great video but how come when you choose Kaci’s algorithm it shoes very clear. When I choose kacia on wood, it very grainy. Doesn’t matter if I use my own picture or an AI generated photo. Thanks for your help.
What is the effect of adjusting the light source, and what impact do the X and Y light source values have?
For deode plss
Bought mine but online version doesn't work
Thank you for this tutorial! OMG, it's a game changer for me!
You're so welcome!
Ne fonctionne absolument pas sur toute les photos. Ajoute énormément de défaut lumineux et dénature les photos. Résultat sur ardoise est beaucoup trop clair avec ce genre de réglage
great video, thanks! i was trying to do what you were online but i didnt have the automatic process buttons, i am guessing that appears when you do an membership?
hello , thanks , very interesting but can you explain what these settings (page 2 off line model ) are and what they affect, the translation into French is even more incomprehensible: thank you
🫶
Fantastic tip! More please!
I don't see the options in the free version. Must be the videos are done on the paid version.
Very good tutorial, do you have one that covers settings for use on a fiber laser?
Literally way more than 1 click. Just opening the file is 4 clicks.
It says the shading and detail feature is 1 click. The image preparation is obviously more than 1 click
Another great video Luki! Thank you very much and will definitely be giving this a try! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍👍👍
Hope you enjoy it!
@@ImagR-Laser Hey Luki I know this is a little off topic but I've noticed in several videos where you are using these clear acrylic "T" type clamps to hold down your work on the honeycomb engraving platform. Did you make them or buy them? Those are awesome!! Whichever is the case, can you send me a link to them or a file? I'm on ImagR too if you need to find me. Thank you very much! 😀😀
love his any chance you can do one for a diode laser please 10w
Awesome!!
Can we see the result once engraved? 😊
1:00. “Simply…”. Bahaha! Lots of numbers without any explanation.
That‘s why we said you should copy our values, since they work for all images. therefore it‘s easy
I have the Offline version 1.9.1. Where is the automatic process #2
Download imagRv2.0.4 from imag-r.com/downloads
Thats a least 20 clicks
Awesome information!!
Glad it was helpful!
Seems like you using a combination of ImagR & Tools?
No, all in the main app
Is this in the offline version aswell ?
yes
its in the tools part
sorry i meant its in the advance image
amazing. thx for sharing
very nice!!!
How do I find the DPI for my laser ? Its a Ikier K1 Pro 24w
DPI Test. We have videos about it
@ImagR-Laser and one more thing...when you select CO2 at materials for example..does it work also for Diode lasers or it's only for CO2 lasers ?
I don't have the same editing options
You have a ImagR License?
Can you tell me why my imag-r screen looks nothing like yours !!
Probably you do not have a license.
Yes I do have a offline license
But it looks nothing like the one you use
Still no answer ?
I believe he is using the ImagR "online" version is this video.
imagr was so helpful to me for my small business until they decide to limit the free upload to 6 uploads only.. so sad..
