I've been watching this build progress. Nice work my friend. Keep it up...
Thanks man! We appreciate the support!!
notch points down , to oil feed passage .
looking at the head from the exhaust side, see oil passage, left of center.
the cylinders are assembled same both sides .
I appreciate you a bunch for the in depth details on installing the rockers!
No problem at all! Thanks for watching!
The notch on the rocker shaft always faces down with the notch on the driver side facing down
Hope somebody told you driver's side rocker arm notch down look at the shaft oil holes need to go down or how would it get oil.Pass side correct notch in back down and oil holes on shaft down.Fix the driver's side notch down to front Great build
It will work the way you have it but not right work more efficient with notch down on driver's front
I'll definitely double check that in the morning! I thought I had it down but I could be wrong. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. I subscribed. Do you still have the weights for the 360?
Thanks for watching and subbing! I still have the weights, I bought that balancer because we are always switching engines. Now I will never have to wait on a balancer to finish a project.
@HardHeadGarage I I put a 0 balance flywheel and torque converter in my in my 360. I need to where the weights are in relation to the crank damper. Are the weights exactly across from the flat side!
@@1otviii I'll have to check
How much spent on this budget build
I'll have to dig my receipts out. I've had a few people ask, maybe I'll make a video breaking down the cost of this build.
@@HardHeadGarage awesome, thanks
Hi. Will using longer valve lifters increase engine power? Poland
I'm not sure if they offer longer lifters or not. You can definitely get different length pushrods. Just remember any modifications made to the valvetrain will affect piston to valve clearance. Thanks for watching!
Thanks@@HardHeadGarage
@strzyg1 no problem. Good luck on your build!
Solid & roller lifters are diff lengths & thats about it! Oil feed goes to the bottom
@@anthonyking4387 the vr1 primed fine for me. It made 70 psi on the drill.

Dumb question, I see a lot of folks buying/rebuilding 318s and not a lot of 360s. Is the 318 better in some way? My 85 D150 has the 5.9 and I'm going to eventually get a spare engine "just in case."
Not a dumb question at all. Most people go with the 318 because that's what they have or you can get them for nearly nothing used. Both the 318 and 360s respond well to basic upgrades like intake, cam and headers. I've got a 360 that I need to start working on soon.
