- In this video I go over how to remove the center console, interior kick panels, drivers and passenger front and rear seats, in order to replace them with s7 seats, this process works for both Audi A6 and A7 but the removal shouldnt be too different from any other audi. Additionally, I’ll show you how to transfer the ambient lighting trim piece.

Hi Amazing tutorial! I’m having an issue with wire harnessing. I swapped my 2015 Audi A7 prestige seats with S7 2016 seats and the heating seats function does not work. Everything else does but that. Any advice?
Thank you! My advice would be first check fuses and wire making sure they’re not torn and properly clipped together. If nothing there look online for the heated seats service manual for 2015 and 2016 and see if anything is different then if nothing there look for a wiring digram of the 2015 seats and then the 2016: the wires could different leading into the clip so you might have to cut and solder or buy a pin removal tool to remove the wire from the clip and match it up with the one on the correct one
hey thank you so much for the tutorial! I’m outside US (Brazil) and planning to replace my A7 stock seats by a RS7 seats. Mine doesn’t have heat nor cold function. Will they be plug and play? (both my A7 and the RS7 are not from US, so different passenger ocupancy sensor)

Use a large flat head to leverage it and if you can’t then I think the clips are stuck. I would use some needle nose pliers and se did you Can pinch the clips while Pulling on it

Correct they were plug and play because the car was a prestige model meaning it has all the same luxuries the s7 does hope this helps👍🏽

@@Exoticarflips how did you know they would be plug in play. I am thrilled to see you took the risk! Thought I was the only guy who loved my A7 minus the seats. Assuming I would need the Audi dealer to reprogram if I have the Premium Plus (heated seats).
@@roburonium5192 They aren't plug and play. it depends on many things. Like if you're switching euro seats into a american audi the seatbelts wont be recognised by the srs system. Also the passenger seat occupancy sensor in the passenger seat works way differently in the recaro sport seat so you will need to find a way to get that hooked up or you will always have a airbag light. If you directly plug in the passenger seat without repinning the green plug the seat heater will always be on and kill your battery. The list goes on... Information on this subject isn't that easy to come by. My advice is know what you have and what you want to do before you get started.

@@adnanalizae7836 sounds like a fuze issue check the fuze box guide online and maybe a fuze went out or a relay did you disconnect the battery?

Hey @luis looey I purchased them on ebay! On every listing you can negotiate them. I was able to get mine for 500$ less than the listing and all it took was some negotiating. That being said when i got mine and plugged them in only one would stay on so i disconnected both and forgot the feature because AZ is too hot regardless lol
