My cousin bought one red with white top brand new, worked at Buick in Detroit. When he brought it up to our place with his new wife I could not resist, and got in and pretended to drive it at age seven. My dad yelled at me to get out of there, my cousin said its ok let him. But I did not want to get out when dad said it again. Later on while they were all inside he took me into the garage and spanked the tar out of me over his knee pants down. lol The only one I ever got. It was worth it. But when he told me to do something I did it like right the f now from then on. Great memoires. Would love to own one now, but It looks like the war on gas and oil is going to win. I hate this Socialist climate deranged Party we now have occupying our government. November cant come fast enough.

Look the exhaust Doesent hurt anything look How many late 50s gm cars are dropped on ground and put then retarded. Massive rims on them. And older guys buy that Crap .so many 59 impala destroyed like that makes me sick
I'm not the only one objecting to the exhaust system. I'd have to straighten that out pronto. I have an NOS muffler for it among my collection of obsolete exhaust.

I think the 1960 Buick has the ignition attached to the gas pedal, meaning you push straight to the floor and it cranks - pump it, it stops cranking.
When you drive these hot old cars you MUST have your elbow out the window !
