Mankind sure is capable of creating beautiful machines.
People still are if the morons who insist on riding around in touch screen retard pods would let them.
RESPECT for driving on those narrow countryside roads. We have the same here in Dorset. I enjoyed every second of your manoeuvring that large car around there. She is an absolute beauty, with not one bad angle. Nice camerawork too, btw.
Cheers.
They sure knew how to build them back then. BEAUTIFUL!
Took my driver's license test in my Dad's 1959 Buick LeSabre...fire engine red convertible. It had the somewhat smaller engine--364ci, rated at 250hp. The Dynaflow transmission was very smooth, but a little bit slow on heavy acceleration. A 59 Buick convertible now, is worth well over a hundred grand! The engine in that Electra would have been the famous 401ci "nailhead"...held in high regard by race drivers, for it's torque and 325hp.
The dashboards from 59 and 65 are my favorites.

The temps ,the cars with personality

We had one a black electra 225 convertible it was a good car it was the only buick that didn't have a front stablelizer bar in 1960 they put it back on
Wow...beautiful car and place....congratulations...
Very nice car, thank you.
Same car & color but the hardtop flattop variant is the one i'm looking for. I like the yellow too- not that mellow of a year for colors for Buick, but i like it when they pop.
Charming brilliance!
Beauteous!
It's so pretty! That's one 'Mad" looking car! It really looks like it's pissed off! I love it!
What's the color , it's beautiful.
Just a big fish on four wheels

How’d she end up in Germany ?
Those cars were never on sale in Germany to begin with so fans of the cars are going to go and buy them and get them shipped.
There are also classic car sales in Europe that do imports as well. You can also find classic european cars in America.
I think my parents owned one of these cars or it was a lowly LeSabre, but I remember photographs of it with its mean, toothy looking front grille when looking at these pictures.
Nice!
I would have thought that the Electra's were all flat tops
There was also the Electra Riviera 4 door hardtop sedan. Beautiful cars.
Interesting
Back when there was an amazing free, vital country.right here where were standing...it was called America, but sometimes it was just called the USA.....
T
It sure rattles a lot!
At the time in was nearly 60 years old!
You'd rattle too! 😂
Yes, that rattle would drive me crazy! I can't stand rattles in a car. I would find it and fix it asap! I had a 49 Packard and there was a rattle in the dash and it drove me nuts! It became my obsession until I finally located it. I adjusted the glove box lid catch and it took car of it!
The old time Buick Dealer Mechanics say the 1957-1959 Buick’s were the worst with lots of workmanship problems. Probably true across the board especially with Chrysler products.
Buick always built reliable cars and had high quality control. They had a reputation for a reason.
@@bighands69 Yes...overall, Buick was rated as being the most reliable of the GM products, going back into the 1950s.
