@ thx bro fer the comment…the dealer delivered this bike to my house yesterday. I will keep this in mind as I log miles and become familiar with the bike
@ i loved the color of the 76 KZ900 green with green/yellow pin stripes...but i have come to the conclusion i will grow into the flat black color of the 2025...because it's such an upgrade of the 76 bikes...it is beautiful in it's own way
I bought these. They're side mount with an adjustable bar angle. I did have to cut two of the retaining bars for cables off of the headlight stay comp for them to fit. But I know you can find clip ons for the z900rs specifically on Webike Japan. woodcraft-cfm.com/collections/clipon-risers/products/75mm-side-mount-adjustable-angle-clipon-risers-with-standard-bars
I like your clean handlebar setup and your camera position. Excellent. But tell me, are the mirrors useful? I really like to see what's going on behind me. If it all works well, how about a description of what you're running there. Thanks man.
Thank you! These mirrors are from Amazon (I tend to knock these in my garage, and have replaced a couple). They work pretty good for bar end. Good visibility behind without needing to move my arm. But, you do need to turn your head to see them. Otherwise, you don't get the peripheral awareness the normal mirrors give you. A little give and take in terms of function and looks.
Quick addendum: my Z has been down three times (all due to fluid in the road in blind turns). Palomar mountain gets more than it's fair share of dudes in freshly tuned beaters that end up dumping coolant or oil somewhere on the hill. Anyway, the rearsets I have are solid mount, and have acted like lower frame sliders with each of these incidents. So definitely recommend something solid mounted
@@BobbyBittler My Z has dropped two times thus far as a result of the kickstand not fully engaged. The Z is not my fastest nor best handling bike but it is the easiest to ride which makes it my go to bike and it never disappoints. I enjoy your videos.
In this one, I've got woodcraft side mount 75mm rise adjustable clip ons. I rotate between these, a renthal street fighter bar, and a z900rs cafe handlebar, depending on my mood
Hey they are repaving a bunch of Mesa Grande ...which is awesome except I got stuck road closure mess....they are also fixing some stuff on south grade
Sounds good to me! I'm hoping they finish the observatory road while they're at it. Looking forward to hitting it this weekend. Might have to see how the progress on Mesa grande is looking
i can't wait dude...got a 2025 Z900 RS SE ABS in the pipe bro...nice vid man!
Get the suspension set up when you do get it. Unless something has changed from 2023, the out of the box setup is pretty crap.

Me too, Wasn't keen on the black SE, but I'd already selected a '24 Yellow/ Black SE, that will be coming imminently. 😁👍🏻

Very exciting to watch
Great video!
Thanks Burt!
Hi! How can you find the clip-on handlebar?
I bought these. They're side mount with an adjustable bar angle. I did have to cut two of the retaining bars for cables off of the headlight stay comp for them to fit. But I know you can find clip ons for the z900rs specifically on Webike Japan.

Good video as always. Did you add rearsets to compliment the clip ons?
@@williams2652 actually, rearsets were one of the first mods I did on the Z, as ground clearance needed to be addressed off the bat

I hear you! Whenever I take off on mine, it feels like it did when I was a kid leaving on my BMX bike. Never disappointing. Thanks man!

Are you selling it?
I have no plans to right now. It's pretty much a Goldilocks bike for me, and is just right. If I do, I'm sure I'll make it known on the channel
This was just the last ride for the day 😁
@@BobbyBittler whew, got me scared abit there 😁
@@iodineclip I edited the title 😁
I think that Miata dude was holding you up....prolly some old man poser
Lol I don't know... Probably the only Miata I haven't been able to pass
I'm not so sure about that. Miata man was hustling along pretty good. Not his first time down the mountain😊
