    Beautiful road, great run just goes to show you what a talented rider is capable of on a Kawasaki Z900 RS. Although the Z is not the fastest nor best handling bike in my stable, it is fun to ride and my every day go to bike. I really enjoyed this video !

    I enjoyed your Vid so much I watched it twice. I have a 2024 Z900RS SE that is now my favourite Bike. I usually go for a play with a friend of mine on Friday afternoons. Our roads have tighter turns than where you are as they are through country Vineyards, so our pace is slower but still enjoyable. Where we live in Australia it is pretty much forty degrees Celsius (around 105 Fahrenheit) every day at the moment, and as we are both seventy year olds we will wait for it to cool a bit before we go again. I have subscribed. While I’m not riding I will sit in my armchair in air-conditioned comfort at let you entertain me. 😂

      @@jeffwood4620 Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it! And yeah, with that much heat, riding can turn into a bit more work than I'd like. Hopefully it cools down a bit soon, you guys can get back out to the vineyards. Until then, I'll do what I can to keep you entertained 😁

    Whoever is riding the Kawasaki does a good job. I own the Cafe model, and it gets heavy in corners, I put Q5 Dunlops on mine, and they help.

    A question if I may. I have watched a number of UA-cam videos on ‘trail braking’ and I was trying to see if you were doing it. I might be mistaken but I thought I saw your index finger on the brakes. Is that the case?

    • @BobbyBittler
      @BobbyBittler  18 днів тому +1

      @@jeffwood4620 it is the case indeed! Most the time I'm keeping up with faster bikes mostly due to trail braking and line selection. I'm also running Q5S tires here, so grip was never in question. When the pace quickens up, it definitely helps in making sure the front is planted. And it's surprising how much lean the bike can carry while trailing off

      Honestly, I've had those bars for a while now, and don't remember for sure. Best guess is the street fighter bend. I've been switching back and forth between those and some woodcraft clip ons; side mount, 75 mm rise. I'll take a closer look in my garage later, and comment again if it's indicated.

    On Z900RS group I'm on, I'm going to use this vid as evidence, when someone whines that the RS is a sedantry Gentlemans bike!!

      @tjordulf 20 днів тому

      @@BobbyBittlerexactly, and hats off to you, I've watched shedloads of Z900RS vids on UA-cam, and they are all quite sedate, just kinda bimbling along, with the odd spurt of gas here and there. Which highlights the ability to have a real gentle, pleasant non scary Sunday ride. They could be on a 125, it's that sedantry. However, your vid highlights the Mr. Hyde nature of this bike, the extreme lean angles, and the fact that your head obviously isn't staying above the clocks, displays quite clearly that you're hanging off, knee down style. The very fact that you're following a Panigale, which everyone knows (or should know) is certainly not a beginners bike, and capable of going very fast. As such we can clearly see that he's givin it some beans, with extremely fluid transitions through those sick twisties, and making it look effortless, he's obviously hanging it out, with the knee down, which clearly denotes the speeds you're doing on that type of road, and all the time, the RS is still right there, relentless in its Terminator like pursuit. I'm about to purchase my '24 SE very shortly, I absolutely cannot wait!! Your vids have made this impatience even worse😬😁🤣🙏🏻👍🏻. But thanks bro🙏🏻

    • @BobbyBittler
      @BobbyBittler  20 днів тому

      @@tjordulf Thank you 🙏🙏🙏 I intend to ride this bike until it won't go anymore. Then probably either swap the motor or start with a fresh one altogether. You're going to love that SE. Already set with stainless lines, brembo calipers, and much better shock (and rear spring rate for that matter). And you're right about the majority of Z900RS vids being sedate. I have come across a couple where guys in Japan are turning them into fully dedicated track/race bikes. I don't remember the track, but one guy (a local pro) ended up setting a lap record at a local more medium sized track. If I can find it again, I'll post the link here. Here's hoping that new SE is in your hands before you know it. Happy riding bro!

    • @BobbyBittler
      @BobbyBittler  19 днів тому +1

      @@jensensphotography4570 no worries lol. The handlebar changes and rearsets (different foot peg brackets/position) give a sportier position. The suspension upgrades make it feel more confident/planted when pushing through turns or braking aggressively. And the exhaust change and ECU tuning (changes how air/fuel are delivered in the engine) really smoothes out the throttle and gives it just a little more pep. Feels more athletic/capable than it did before the changes.
