Awesome now that’s how they all should be great transmission and shifter some of the finest mopars out ther love watching the hemi shoot outs love the 63 to 65 hemis also the old polara s and Belvedere s the max wedge cars are probably my favourites
My dad had a jerico with a clutch, but shifted without it for a .10 gain, but it also drastically reduced the life of the trans. Has since gone to A lenco
"Clutchless Jericho" means you don't have to push the clutch pedal in to shift between gears. However, you still use the clutch to start and stop. Lencos are roughly similar - roughly.
This isn't even a real stick shift this is bullshit. How can you call it a stick shift when you're not even using a clutch?? It might as well be an automatic all you're doing is moving the shifter... Yawn.. look up 5 spd doug nash malibu. Thats a real stick shift and a real driver behind the wheel.
V8, why, when you can have a V10? thats some real shit if all youre doing is going in a straight line. Brakes? what do you mean, brakes? Why not just use an anchor like real fucking men do when they want to stop. Pistons? Why does he use pistons, a Porsche Taycan can do this shit with none of them if all you are doing is going staight ahead. Electric, why, when fuel is so much cooler to burn than electricity?
Very cool video, thank you for sharing it.
Pure gold
When you did your burn out I was like D U D E !!! You shift that like a robot, bad ass man.
Note that even the burnout utilized all 4 gears. 🙂

Yeah that’s a Bad Ass Duster too! 👍🏻
3 Chebby or Phord Guys Disliked this Bad Machine. Charlie don't Surf...😁😁😁
Last I heard Charlie was running a ford.
Charlie is the man!
I ran the same shifter and trans in my '70 dual quad 340 Dart With 4.56's out back on the street, it would turn 8500rpms in a blink, just like this
That is sick. I never realized the Jerico trans could be shifted like that once moving in 1st. Instant no lift WOT shifts. Bitchin!

CornerstoneAutoLLC totally different
Hows does nhra allow mid 8s with no gloves, pants, neck collar?
is this with an 18 spline hemi box?
@MrRandomStuffTV Its a three pedal car. You can see him clutch it at 45 seconds.
@SHJ1985 yea because i never saw him cluch the car and if you were outside the car, you could tell
Clutchflite?
Jerico or a Liberty 4 speed.
about 5 sec?.......1/8 mi
Must have gotten out of shape there a bit, Charlie.
Nice run but 1/8 mile sucks. Why is this popular down south?
JOSEPH JAKUBEC was a 1/4 mile run. Lifted in high gear when it started spinning. Super stock only runs 1/4 mile
