We did too. We had Tiger Boy, and his huge self was a sweetie who HATED closed doors. He would slam his body up against a closed door until we opened it. People would freak out when this happened. Sometimes, people would scream at me not to open the door. But I did 😂. And this cat just came walking in, sat down for cuddles, and then the people would laugh because they realized they were actually safe. I miss him.
I too have a Harvey. He’s also around 20 pounds, big skull, always climbing and always looking for something to eat, tho he never finishes the food in his plate. His “power move” moment: It was 4 am, he came into the bedroom, bringing a bat, a live bat…. and then… just let it loose…. and proceeded to lay down to rest.
You can tell a LOT about a person by their pets and how they respond to them. I have had the pleasure of being a servant to many cats over the decades, and I can't remember anyone ever being able to hold, like a baby, 3 different cats. Impressed is an understatement
I had two cats and they would both let me do this. I could even hold them like this and rub their bellies, clip their claws, whatever, no problem at all.

The way my cats are so crazy like this is so funny. I love when they have big personalities. I have one of mine who grew into a really old angry Russian lady. (She's a Russian Black) We argue way more than anyone should verbally argue with their pet.
I thought it was just my cat that liked to grump at me! Bella, Russian Blue, hates her little brother and has done so ever since the day I brought him home, about 8 years ago!! I had her for 1 year before getting him, and I only got him because she was an absolute little b1tch of a kitten! The only time she wanted anything to do with me for the 1st year of her life, was when she wanted to attack, so she attacked, pretty constantly, more so if I happened to be having a really bad day, and was having a bit of a cry in the privacy of my own home. She always attacked if I cried! Like she could sense my weakness and despised me for it! When I brought my boy home, she decided that she loved me all of a sudden!! But because she hates him, she learned how to growl, snort, hiss, and moan. So now when she doesn’t get her way, she tell me all about it! She moans as she is walking away from me, all because I won’t allow her to climb into the fridge to investigate it!! Every single time! She also hisses and growls at poor Niko every time he dares to be in her path as she is going for her nightly speed walk/patrol around the catio! Even if he dares to be still eating his dinner, in his spot when she wants to walk past his spot, she will growl and hiss at him!! Grumpiest cat I have ever met! Still wouldn’t be without her though! Love her completely! She’s just a little….. different.
Okay listen, between the actual kitty cats in the videos, Jordan's flat affect and simmering urgency in both voice and demeanor, this content sparks joy. Well done, sir.
Cats *know* when they're beautiful, they *know* when they're heavy, and they *know* when they're fast an nimble. They will use these traits to their advantage whenever possible. Harvey knows he's a beast. He knows he IS the authority.
I had two cats (one past away from cancer) both were black with green eyes (dark vs bright almost yellow) from the same liter, but there were definitely some differences between them Star had very nice silky fur 24 toes total equally distributed, and was the smartest cat we have ever owned. Midnight has always had a lot of dandruff, a normal 18 toes, and is an imbecile, he is the dumbest cat we have ever owned, which is very evident because all of our other cats have been smart.
