Poor Kristen
I love Kristen Vigard and she's such a good sport about losing the role. A lot of people would have held grudges and I know she was disappointed at not getting to do it on Broadway but she really has handled it so maturely and is really a wonderful person and entertainer and I wish her the best as she deserves it. For those who may not recognize her, she is on the top left in this video and was the original Annie before it went to Broadway! I also love all of the other Annie's, in particular Andrea McArdle (on the bottom left in the video) and in my view, the vastly underrated Shelly Bruce (who is sitting next to Andrea in the video).
Jason Platt Kristen did pretty well for herself after the show. I remember seeing her on various TV shows when she was a teenager and well into her adult years. In her music career she’s worked with some pretty big names as well.
@@jasonplatt2228Kristen got to do the role on Broadway. She was Andrea’s stand in. That’s not a shabby gig.
