If you had 100mph winds, you could have some root and trunk damage that you can't see. Will take time for them to heal. They will drop leaves when there aren't enough roots to support them.
Figs do drop their leaves pretty easily. I have to water daily on 5 gallon buckets with figs during the summer. Last week it got pretty hot. Lift up the buckets. If they are very light, they need water. Still heavy you can go another day. Much more accurate doing this than getting a moisture meter. Water is heavy, and I use this method all the time with plastic buckets.
@@RegularJohntv OK, I will be honest. I try to find the one that dries out first, and then lift up on one side. If it moves easily, time to water. If it seems to be heavy, I will wait a day.
When figs get low on water the new growth goes limp. Sometimes I get leaves like you have and I ignore it. When I use kelp meal or Dr Earths 2-2-2 pure gold it doesn’t happen.
It would help more looking at the new growth of the plants and some of the old growth not saying this is your problem but I did notice your new growth was pretty light perhaps a little more mag or nitrogen would help or both

That makes perfect sense. They did take a wallop
Keep posting brother. I enjoy the updates. Hope your leaves get sorted out.
I definitely will. I appreciate you watching.
Are there what looks like burn holes in the middle of the leaves?
It looks like over watering or fig rust.
Get a moisture meter.

These 15 and 20 gallon tubs get pretty heavy after tipping them all. I got lazy. Stepping it up though.

sprays like a soap-and-water mixture, neem oil, or essential oils will stop aphids under leaves and biting chewing bugs that spread fmd

I’ll have to remember that

Thanks for the tip. Sounds logical
Eat the leaves, they taste like coconut
