Yellowing leaves! Change your soil?

So today I am going to deal with something that I’ve been dreading. When was my tree going to start turning yellow? I’ve had a suspicion that it would do this for some time now. My soil mix is robing my tree of nitrogen. Also. I forgot to mention that your going to have to change the soil back to a more forgiving ratio of soil to bark. #figtree #garden #gardening #nitrogen #yellowleaves #nitrog...

The trade-off is that the tree roots give off exudates which feed the mycorrhizae and create the desired pH level, in turn, the mycorrhizae bring nutrients to the tree.

I dont think thats an olympian fig. The pulp should be dark orange, the frug is pretty big and taste like peaches, the skin doesnt get dark like that typicly only on one side it gets dark. The fig is brownish orange when fully ripe. Might be wrong. English Brown turkey types have some variations

The figs look great, mate. I live in Pennsylvania zone 6. I also grow in containers. I have 24 varieties of figs, along with a ton of different fruits and vegetables. Living here with the cold winters, I pile all my fig containers up in my shed, and I have a heater that automatically kicks on at 21 degrees. All my figs do amazing like that. It is a pain moving them each year but so worth the effort. I love spending time each day in the summer, just looking at and tending to my plants. Happy growing mate! Thank you for your content.

Figs do drop their leaves pretty easily. I have to water daily on 5 gallon buckets with figs during the summer. Last week it got pretty hot. Lift up the buckets. If they are very light, they need water. Still heavy you can go another day. Much more accurate doing this than getting a moisture meter. Water is heavy, and I use this method all the time with plastic buckets.
