ABOUT
Colour were a 4 piece from Kingston that played Math Pop. This set is taken from the release party show in 2009 for the single 'Unicorns'. Sadly Colour announced in June 2009 that they would be going their seperate ways after a tour with Blakfish (RIP).
Most of Colour have gone on to form 'Tangled Hair' who are playing various dates through 2010.

It's been 11 years now, huh? I know that Welsh and some of the former members are in Tangled Hair but it still sucks that we won't be hearing Colour all together at once any time in the foreseeable future.
Edit: It has now been 12 years! Still love their music! Also somehow in the time since I first commented this, I became a girl. The math-rock fan to trans girl pipeline is unreal.

Interesting fact for you- George from Colour, is also the same George in Alunageorge and the guys from Tangled Hair (who used to be with him in Colour) play with them when they do live stuff. If you don't believe me check Alunageorge out in R1 Live Lounge.

I like them a lot, too. But Anthology is a freaking masterpiece. My favorite album by far(of any band).
Audio quality amazing. Glad we have at least one good recording of this project/band.
Unicorns is my favorite Colour song, easily the best thing Welsh has done.

Thanks for uploading this! These guys are still one of my favorite bands. The bassist was also in Meet Me In St Louis, another solid math rock band to check out.

Like everything up to planet of ice is varying levels of sick, but like I'd be hard pressed to recc mtb over colour.
Some songs are kinda out off-sync but some are just perfect

Colour, as far as I know, hasn't made a song called Kerosene. Do you have a link to the song? I might be able to track down the artist of the song for you.

Man they play everything so fast, it almost takes away from the beauty of the song. And his singing is too low :( I love me some high singing. I'd still be wayyyy stoked to see these guys live..dumb crowd.
