Yes, this choreography works really well for her. I mean, not all of the other gymnasts are great dancers. And her tumbling skills are amazing--and so solid.
Better than when they tried to make her more graceful. She actually smiles in this routine and is sharper. I don’t like most of the choreography but if it’s done well, it changes things! She was much more lifted just in her posture overall.

@@lalareal180 Artistry has been devalued for years. This Team U.S,A consists of gymnasts in general that are sloppy and aside from Biles and Chiles at times are void of the discipline. The whole sport has just got sloppy and lacks refinement in atristry. Track & Swimming will shine for the U.S. - Gymnastics not that much.

Her E score was exactly the same as it has been lately. Her D score just shot up. She was judged the same as she has been, which is still low-balling her compared to the other competitors a bit.
I still think they are hitting her too hard on the E score by at least 2-3 tenths. They use "artistry" against her, but I honestly find this routine to be very artistic. A lot of the other routines seem very samey and seemed rush and the movements don't all seem complete. Jade's floor is unique, she doesn't rush, she completes all her movements. I swear domestic judges knock her down because she doesn't smile enough or shake her butt. It's 2024, she's an athlete, she shouldn't have to smile or shake her butt to get proper marks.

Her choreo is leaps and bounds ahead of Tokyo. She actually moves with purpose this time around. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be better than before!
No one on the US team has stellar artistry. None of them are great dancers except maybe Leeann and suni but Suni doesn't have near enough difficulty to be competitive on floor. Nor does Leeann.

Oh, and much much better music--it has such momentum, and it complements her tumbling so well, and it's upbeat. In the past, the music has seemed vague and boring, and it's not surprising they couldn't come up with better choreography. I think her floor would be better if she wore a bun. her hair is very distracting, and it makes some movements kind of strange.
Still not top 3 on floor.. Double tuck was deep. Double Double tucked wasnt easy for her. Doesnt have the same level of ease she used to in her only redeeming quality on her floor. the acrobatics.
I feel a new light in her. She’s always had a special place in my heart. I’m looking forward to seeing her succeed.
