trust me, don't give up. For a while my hair looked awkward and long-ish, but not flow long. I currently have a bit more than the flow but the back is really long so I have to trim a bit. Expect to wait about 6 months or so until you see it. STAY STRONG.
@@honyc9672 that's not how it works, are you using conditioner without knowing what it does ? it's here to help for keeping your hair smooth and knotless, it also makes it easier to be tamed if you want to style it. i have between curly and wavy hair myself, the conditionner does not make it any curlier, if anything, my hair gets even wavier/straight.
@@prod.87jaws both of you are wrong I have really curly hair and sea salt spray works fine if you have enough salt and also Conditioner does the same if you have the right kind your probably just using crappy shampoos and conditioners with sulfate in them
I’m seeing a lot of positive feedback from this updated video so far, your looking good with the flow. I’m thinking of getting a trim so I can achieve this hairstyle.
I'm about 2 to 3 months in and the stage I'm at now is driving me nuts however I think I'm just going to let it keep growing I want that wave flow with the short sides
I had COVID that lasted a good 12 days. At first, I believed I was ok but I started to lose more hair than usual. Following some research, I've come to realize it’s from the stress my body went through during that time and also the shampoo that I was using. So I began doing yoga and meditation daily and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And today I don't face any hairfall. Thank you for this video! I feel so much better.
I used to have basically straight hair but after getting a m-part and brushing back after showed etc, my hair became progressively wavy especially with longer hair.
Me too but the awkward stage looks terrible, I have one half decent side and the other side of my hair got hair sticking out like an inverted wave, Not sure if I can describe it better but ye a massive wave or curl with the hair going from the middle downwards then sticking up at the end and it's driving me insane, My hair is the cross between wavy and curly
For the people who say you need naturally wavy hair this isn't necessarily true because as your hair grows longer your hair will start to look wavier anyway you just need to know how to style it.
One of my teacher did this and it looked really good for about 5 months but then he let it keep growing and now he just has long hair. So you do have to trim it.
@@Ballingboiithey’ll mess it up… trust me even as a girl when you ask for what you have/had they never replicate it. Like to the point where it seems that they don’t even try at all or if they are trying then they are actively trying to sabotage you even though Ik in most cases they probably don’t even care enough to do that. Half kidding but yeah. Also I am aware that cuts can grow out better, as showcased in this video, but I’ve had them cut the hair in such a way where it won’t and hasn’t grown out nicely. Sick of it
Parents often associate long hair with messiness. If you show them what you're going for and tell them you're going to maintain it and not just let it be messy then they might approve
Do it!!! You should try any hairstyle that interests you. I have thick, very wavy to slightly curly hair. You might think it’ll get big and puffy, but as long as the hair is moisturized, you’ll be golden once it makes it to a certain length. So around 6 inches long. Just enjoy the growing out process and trying many different styles you’ve never tried before along the way
1st step - have good hair genetics

Fr you should know if your hair is able to have a flow or not
The flow is indeed immaculate! 🤙🏽
I’m in the awkward stages and I always go and get it cut back to looking proper. Thanks for this video I really need to stick it through
Fr same bro, currently going through it rn. Don’t want it as long as him tho
me to my hair looks so bad and i don’t know what to do
If it looks bad go and tell your baber to do a low taper fade without trimming the top it makes it look so much cleaner
Hats and beanies til it gets to the baby flow stage. Or just tough it out and stop caring for a few months. Sucks but you gotta do it

Did u?
Going for it. Long hair for Xmas 2023
Same, except in my case its long hair by the time i get my First Law degree
Highly relatable 😭😭
I always love getting undercut cut because it looks good on my curlu hair but also on the sides if I pull it hurts because I'm pulling my skin
In the "looking like crap" stage rn 😭😭
My brother has this hairstyle but way longer, to a little above his shoulder. It looks so amazing. Makes me want it lol

Very helpful
My parents won’t let me get a flow. It literally suits me perfect and everyone tells me I should get one.
I’m 4 months in from my last mid fade haircut. I’m definitely in the awkward stage. Letting it grow so I can get braids
Me to! I dont know what to do with my hair! Its soo bad rn
The baby flow is fire though.
