Christopher #2 said that Quentin somehow made it clear that Lee was off limits, which Lee disputed that he could not claim her (that could've bruised his ego) In the first few episodes there was no mention of Janelle out Quinton's mouth, yet in this episode he said he fell for her at the mixer🤔 Janelle had more of a connection with Red and once he was eliminated, all of a sudden her and Quinton was together. That's when he started changing. When his ex came on the show, she said he had a problem with infidelity and he didn't deny it. Since he's a fitness trainer, I think he isn't mature enough to control his lust and be ready for monogomy I felt like from that point, he started playing a game to test how far he could go in being with another woman in Lee's presence and how much she would put up with. Imo, I thought the comment he made about ghosting her and him starving her for attention was to appease Janelle, break Lee's self esteem and then in the end choose Lee after molding her Him making the comment that, he liked how she handled the retreat was telling Him all of a sudden being worried about Janelle's "conflict resolution abilities' and concern about Janelle's age were not a surprise for him, but an excuse to exit. He also acted surprised that Lee was everything he wanted and needed in a woman. I just think he wanted to groom her and also see if she would fight for him like Janelle did. He said him and Janelle only had a physical connection. Imo they were smashing, cuz she acted super possessive and he acted sprung I felt like he tried to pivot towards Lee at the end after playing his game or maybe not. Quinton is like most men, they will play with one and love the other. Lee does give off Sexy vixen but was that enough? She can appear to be very timid as well while Janelle has a tick. Quinton lights up when Janelle enters the room. Janelle as messy as she is, can appear to be a lot of fun to. I heard however it did not work out with them, I guess the lights eventually came on if true. After awhile Janelle will be too much for anyone.

I think what Quentin meant is in his eyes they're the same. He doesn't see Janelle as a mean girl. He sees all the goodness she displays to him. So yeah to him they're both lovely, they're sweet to him, they're fun to be around etc... but I'm so glad that Lee chose herself in this scenario.

Very happy for Lee. It sucks that we date from our trauma wounds vs a healthy mindset, and I feel that’s how Quinton ended up lusting for Janelle. Let’s be honest, Janelle only began obliging Quinton’s interest after she realized Herbert wasn’t actively pursuing her. She was trying to friend zone Quinton, but jumped on him to stay in the process and to soothe her ego.

I have suspicions about him and his preferences but don’t like to discuss things like that until there is solid evidence.

Quinton is like most men, they will play with one and love the other. Lee does give off Sexy vixen but was that enough? She can appear to be very timid as well while Janelle has a tick. Quinton lights up when Janelle enters the room. Janelle as messy as she is, can appear to be a lot of fun to. I heard however it did not work out with them, I guess the lights eventually came on if true. After awhile Janelle will be too much for anyone.

If she had not self eliminated and the men had to chose between her and the remaining women, do you think that any of them would have fought to keep her? She didn’t really have a connection with Quintin, Phil, or Maurier. In essence, she most likely could have self-eliminated on the last show or waited until they eliminated her on the next one.

I totally agree with this and this is the perspective I been saying. Lee self eliminating allows her to control the narrative. Her Ego would not let her have the men eliminate her so she just does it herself so no one can say the men eliminated her or she lost to Janelle.

If Quintin was surprised about her self-elimination, I didn’t see anything that indicated that he regretted that he had not developer a stronger connection with her. He showed her in many ways that he wasn’t very interested in her. I couldn’t understand why she thought that she still had a chance with him after he told her in front of Janelle that he had ghosted her. I have suspicions about him and his preferences but don’t like to discuss things like that until there is solid evidence.

Let me put some perspective on this. Quinton and Janelle is the classic high school example of the oddball couple that gets pressured to be together. The producers were probably pushing Janelle onto Quinton and it wasn't until Lee left that he realized that all of this fake dating show stuff is really silly. Also Quinton wants and needs a woman to cover him and accept him because he's a simple guy. He and Lee aren't a match either because she aspires to be sophisticated and Quinton is a simple guy.
No one is thinking deeper with this. He was thinking about his future stability, Janel may be more career driven whereas Lee is the same as him, shes into fitness. EVERY THIRD PERSON IN THE DFW is into fitness and some pursue careers in it. There’s gym and club owners who are bringing in the money, but your regular fitness coach is very dependent on client stability and referrals. HE KNEW THIS. If he knows his financial struggles with this fitness career, itll be the same for Lee. HE wanted financial better for himself. Janel presented of having wealth. Thats what he wanted.
