21 years in the US Army. We always make the enemy sound dangerous so we get more funding and the newest toys. In reality, we are so far advanced then most possible enemies, that in a conventional war, it'd be over within a month. In Desert Storm, we were told we had to destroy 5 enemy armored vehicles to each of ours destroyed to get and keep an advantage during our assault. We exceed that by quite a lot. The US under played the amount of damage we did so the rest of the world didn't think we were just killing everyone in sight. It was a literal bloodbath. Started out with 7k 7.62 rounds in my M-240 coaxial machine gun. Finished 104 hours later with 180 rounds left. That was just 1 machinegun out of 3 and not including the 120mm main gun.
This reminds me of a movie where the US Army is fighting ghosts because there's no enemy left 😅😅

That was heartbreaking watching the female NK soldier watch how female US soldiers lived their lives. She was fine until she saw the pregnant US soldier. The look on her face changed after that. 😢😢
These guys are awesome.
These ex-North Korean soldiers didn't know the definition of being supported by the gov't. Because they had struggled to stay alive at the time, which means the autocratic regime in North Korea didn't give them enough meals and combat equipment. So, these poor people had to experience a shocking moment as they saw the US military's awesome power, plausible welfare, and luxury MREs for soldiers. If they witnessed the US troopers' lunchtime, might've jaw-dropped since they couldn't expect such beautiful and abundant meals in their lives.
They should react to bunker busters.
I watched the entire video. It's so interesting. The people seem friendly and open for discussion. Our leaders aren't in touch with the people of their different countries.

My fav was how the arresting cables and steam catapults on a carrier were simply referred to as rubber bands.
I think these guys would probably appreciate a video that explains how an aircraft carrier's arresting gear and catapult systems actually work ... there's no elastic bands or rubber involved..
Carrier uses a wire to stop planes, a hook drops down from plane and plane has to catch ideally 2nd wire to stop quickly. Takeoff is assisted by a block that connects to front landing gear and drags plane forward while full power is achieved.
These videos are always so interesting. So glad these people are out of North Korea now. I would like the guests to speak about how they came to the conclusion that they should defect to south Korea..and what made them know it would be better?

That was a MK 46 torpedo. The MK 48 is much larger and only launched from subs.

Watched a similar video a few months ago with a guy that made it to south korea. He said one thing that shocked him was how big all the American guys were. He always thought they were smaller than the north korean soldier and taking them in a fight would be easy. He said he would not want to fight an American soldier after seeing them in person.
Even in WWII, U.S. aircraft carriers were known for having the best food in the Service. When a downed pilot from one carrier was rescued by another ship, the rescued pilot's carrier traditionally gave ice cream to the rescuing ship. Once, an American fighter pilot ace known as 'Killer' Kane was shot down in the ocean, he was missing for several days and everybody feared he had died. Then finally, around the 3rd day, a ship radioed Kane's carrier with the telegraphed message: 'HOW MUCH ICE CREAM IS KILLER KANE WORTH?' which signified they had rescued him, and jokingly insinuated that they expected to receive a lot of ice cream for rescuing such a valuable pilot.
I told them in Korean, that pregnant Marine is a Marine, not Army.

I want to share my thoughts on Korean soldiers , it was January 2020 in batak Afghanistan
My task was to get every Intel about movements of US & collect intel from meetings of US authorities with local warlords of different ethnicity one day I manage to penetrate the place delta unit buy rations i was surprise to watch 4 south korean army personnels from 707th division of ROK they were like side kick working with them like a trainne more like a servant
