Great review! The key fob isn't actually rechargeable. When the battery dies in the key you place it in that spot where the car can detect it without battery power allowing you to start the engine.
It's so interesting how different people pick up aspects of the car that no one else saw.....watched over 10 reviews of this vehicle and you're the ONLY one who mentioned the key fob charger!!! Excellent content, editing, fun to watch.
Looks good and very practical. Too bad it's under the Buick branding and not Cadillac. That being said, it's a great entry level competitor to volvo and audi?
There are 2 driver assist packages and that car may have both of them. It will warn if you stray out of lane and adjust the steering wheel. The auto start can be set to turn on heated seats and steering wheel. When you get into the car, the seat automatically adjusts depending on what memory settings are set to the key fob you are using, and after the engine is off, the seat automatically moves back to allow easier exit when the door opens. Even in the high end Essence trim, there is still a package for navigation and premium sound. And the car is fully loaded at that point. Big discounts on the current model which has the old info system and 8 speed transmission. A style refresh is due in 2021.
I love your video review! I think my favorite part was your walking all through the vehicle. It shows how roomy the SUV is and how well your quads function! It was funny in the middle of your review, the Marriage of Figaro aria started playing. I thought that’s kind of interesting having opera music in the background of a Lab Tested review. Then I remembered, I changed my text tone. 😊 Anyway, we definitely want to enter the giveaway!
That’s hard to say. The Alltrack is significantly smaller. I’d say Alltrack majority of the time if you live in a busy town or in the city. And TourX if you have more space - well, for more space! Haha
This Regal TourX placed first above Subaru Outback and VM Alltrack. www.motortrend.com/cars/buick/regal/2018/2018-buick-regal-tourx-vs-2018-subaru-outback-3-6r-vs-2018-volkswagen-golf-alltrack/ The Alltrack is very small and if you want the ~60 cu ft of cargo in a sedan based vehicle a Regal Sportback offers more for less. The Regal Sportback can be had.for $19K on autotrader while the Alltrack is $22K.
@@OlRedHair the TourX has also has flat folding floor but since the TourX is about 10 inches shorter than an S-class and has much more floor space than cubic air than any Jeep. The TourX is down to low $20's so there is no comparison in price vs Trackhawk.
Might as well go for the giveaway. I don't own a dog but this review did help my friend that does have a dog decide to buy a TourX today. It would make a nice gift. @bahamatodd
Hey andie. Try a pool noodle. I really like this wagon, but it's priced a bit too high (yes I know it's a buick), but if they want to grab a piece of the market, it needs to have lower msrps. Sure, all things are negotiable, but that's another post. Also, this wagon needs a spicier side, not that 260hp is off the competion, but mid/top trim buyers could benefit from a 'GS' option. Wagons are cool. Fast wagons are awesome. More power might make the auto trans less of a bummer. More sport, more flair; make ppl get excited about having a wagon. That volvo v60 t5 is mighty tempting, even in fwd, compared to this tourx. But I'm a 3 pedal person, so my money is going to the VW GSW/Alltrack (base trim).
@@AndietheLab same with the AllTrack☹️ We have a 2018 TourX en route…kid on the way. This seems to be the coolest option for a family ride (well…that isn’t a Panamera or RS6 😂). Also own a Mk7 GTI.
I love the tourx and I really like your review. The one thing that really got to me though was that is high as you are on your dog why are you driving around with your dog in the car unrestrained in any form or fashion. Not even a harness with a seat belt attachment. If you had to make an emergency stop there is no way that this 60 or 70 lb dog will not fly from the back of your car and smacking to the rear seat knocking you out of place and possibly almost certainly injuring the dog and you. You could have shown your dog in the back seat with a seatbelt attachment. You could also have shown how you can put a crate in the rear using the rail tie-downs to secure it and traveling with your dog back there. For what it's worth that would have been a more responsible use of your dog in the car. In the future I hope you consider these things. It is obvious that you love your dog and he is very important to you. Therefore I cannot understand why you would not want to take the best possible care of him in every situation especially in a moving vehicle.
I 1000% understand your point and it is something my husband and I have discussed a lot. Andie does not do well in a crate and because of where she likes to be, there aren’t many restraints that would make much sense. The gate is a great idea but most of the vehicles we get to review won’t come with that option. Typically when we are really traveling the rear seats will all be up. Do we understand the risks? Absolutely. But it is very evident this is where she is most comfortable, and so we try our best and pray over her safety.
Nice review of a nice car - and what a star Andie is...does she have a Chukit? Great for slobber-free (at least for you) tennisball fetch sessions! Please enter me for the water pik, we have some rowdy furkids who could use that! @steve_writes
Great review!
The key fob isn't actually rechargeable. When the battery dies in the key you place it in that spot where the car can detect it without battery power allowing you to start the engine.
Ahhhh thanks for the clarification!
The FOB transmitter is in the console. Try placing it thete if low on battery.
I'm on my 2d Regal TourX. First was lost on a head on collision by a drunk driver.

My two German shepherds love their Tour X in Essence trim.
But they are partial to German cars even if they are rebadged....
... Yes, buick needs more euro flair.
I owned the Buick Regal TourX for a month and it is AMAZING!!! I love your review! You nailed it!
Thanks!
Been eagerly awaiting this review. Thanks! The TourX is just the prescription we needed.

A turbo v6 and awd would be amazing. I would actually buy this.
Great review Andie's. I should have made it order only. I'd consider it but most will get a CUV / SUV instead.
I'm not a fan of Buick but this is a nice one.... Or maybe it's your review that got me.
Thanks Jay!
What a beautiful Wagon !!! .
TourX or VW Alltrack? What do you say, Andie, since you reviewed both? Anything big to consider besides size difference, power, and looks?

How does the zippy Jeep you reviewed compare?

Gorgeous! Huge station wagon fan! Too bad it's a Buick
This Buick was amazing TBH!
Love the video! Interesting key fob idea!

There is actually a GSi version in Europe. I think you make some very good points!
Awesome review as usual. You always give great reviews and love Andie, keep up the great job
Who does Andies makeup?
Would you rather get the VW Alltrack or the Buick Regal TourX?
The TourX for the larger size and Opel roots! Both German 💪
ANDYYYYYY
I know that I would never buy this vehicle but I’m watching this video because you did it.
Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Wow! Thank you for the comment! TBH I really liked this car
You also wouldn't buy it because it isn't available in Canada.
Andie the Lab I don’t hate the car but it doesn’t suit my needs. That’s it. Looks good for sure.
Waiting for that forester review Andie....
We have it right now! Expect it live next week!
@@AndietheLab Thank you, please keep an ear for cabin noise and let us know how it is compared to other models in the class.
TourX or AllTrack ?
Trick question! TourX is no longer sold here 😱 but TourX, it was bigger. Now A6 Allroad vs TourX? A6 allroad ALL day

Congrats! Can’t go wrong
Same like opel insignia.
Yes! Except we don’t have Opel in the US
European models like that are my favorites but be carefull what you buy. It helps when they are sold as American nameplates.
