This movie was a little older probably probably early 80s (80-82) I see it from their fashion especially hairstyle and makeup. In about 5 years after this, Japanese girls started to wear much more adult style outfits (body conscious outfits they used to call) and vivid red lipstick hairstyle became long straight hair or semi long wavy bob style called sauvage.
I am surprised to know this film took place in the early 80s. The fashion wouldn't look out of place in the late 90s or nowadays, much too similar to the fashion i usually watch during the golden age of hong kong movies

What is the name of this movie? I don't think there is a live action version of Kimagure Orange Road, but the hero and the heroin look very similar to Kyosuke and Madoka.
