Hello, I work for carnival cruise lines as a virtual call center I work as a 1099 contractor. I answer the calls when people call to carnival cruise to change the ship, or if they need to do a group cruise I link them together so that the workers on the ship know they will
All be together. I mean if you can imagine calling carnival for anything for your booked cruise that my department. I also took a cruise earlier in 2023 with my cousin. These trips have allowed me to provide customer service better to
Client because now I’ve been on a group cruise which I had never done before. Can I write off these cruise for around $5-6k or do you think the irs would approve something like this?
