    • @WhatTedSays
      @WhatTedSays 13 днів тому

      Most (the legal fees and set up) $500 to $1,000. The actual start up cost of a business depends on the business. It can be minimal to more than $1,000,000.

    500,000 people did NOT die from Covid. The death rate was about 1 to 2%. WHO and CDC redated their initial findings. The 500,000 included natural deaths, deaths from the common Flu, and initial incorrect treatments (Just about every one put on a respirator died). They stopped using them and the numbers normalized. The number of deaths to those persons with zero co-morbidities was nearly zero.

    Great video Ted and you answered one of my questions but I have another. I am a 1099 independent contract driver who has a contract with an automotive dealership delivering automotive parts to their clients who order them. So it is 23 miles from my home office to their location which you said is a write off, that's grate. But, what about my return trip home? I do 3 delivery run's a day. one at 8:00 AM one at 11:00 AM and one at 2:00 PM and then I go home after making my last stop. So are those miles from my last stop to home personal or business? I hope you answer this for me so that I can update my excel mileage spreadsheet.

    So, question 🙋‍♂️. If I register an LLC under a business name, would I then also need to register the business name itself? What benefit does that bring? That’s like double registration, right? How long does registering your business name, protect your business name idea? (I.e. if registered, does this protect my business name I choose for a certain amount of time while I get the domain ready + everything else ready to deploy in the business?”).

    • @WhatTedSays
      @WhatTedSays 5 місяців тому

      You don’t want to confuse the difference of having a trademark on your business and registering your business to be an LLC, which are two entirely in separate things. Remember that the name you register the LLC in doesn’t necessarily have to be the name of your doing business as or DBA, which may actually be the real name of your business. The main reason to have the LLC is to protect you from unlimited liability in your business, which may or may not be true for every type of business.
