Pros
- Very good looking aircraft in paint scheme and details
- 500mm wingspan. This larger plane provides more stable flight in manual mode as compared to the 400mm wingspan warbirds from Eachine/Volantex.
- Brushless motor
- Very efficient flier. Its 2S 7.4V 400mah battery provides over 13 minutes of flight time (In the video, I got over 21 minutes slope soaring with turkey turkey vultures). No-load residual battery voltage for both flights was around 7.5V.
- Weighs only 118 grams with battery installed. Does NOT require registration or RID in most countries.
- Ready to fly plane with included transmitter.
- True four channel airplane with throttle, elevator, rudder, and aileron control.
- Constructed of flexible and crash resistant EPP foam.
- Comes with two 3 bladed propellers. Quick disconnect propeller saver automatically disconnects the propeller in a crash to prevent propeller or motor damage. Propeller can be quickly reattached after the crash to continue flying.
- Three selectable flight modes. Beginner mode includes full 6 axis stabilization (3 axis gyro and 3 axis accelerometer). Also includes angle restrictions that prevent the aircraft rolling or pitching over. Intermediate "Midd" mode also includes 6 axis stabilization, but turns off pitch angle restrictions to allow aerobatic loop stunts. Expert mode turns off all stabilization for fully aerobatic manual flying.
- Controller also includes a stunt button that allows the airplane to automatically conduct loops and aileron rolls.
- Auto Takeoff feature enables the aircraft to automatically climb to a safe altitude, and then circle until the pilot is comfortable and ready to take control of the plane with the pitch/roll stick.
- One key return feature will automatically fly the plane in the opposite direction that it was pointed at takeoff.
- Telemetry warnings of Low Battery (2 beeps plane, 1 beep Tx) and Weak Signal (4 beeps)
- NEW Find my aircraft beeper (Hold throttle down trim for 3 seconds)
- Can be flown with multi-protocol transmitters using V761 protocol.
Cons
- Although it is noticeably more stable than its 400mm predecessors, it can still be a challenge to fly in manual mode on breezy days.
- It's a bit tail heavy, even when the battery is placed as far forward as it can go. You might need to add a little weight on the nose to balance the CG.

The beeper on the flight board of this V76802 P-51 and the brushless motor are big upgrades from the V761 Minis. Though I believe that the newer V761s are also now coming out with a beeper on their boards. That'll make the stock Tx there good for all of them. Until the V761 protocol is upgraded to cover all the new features that is.
1 slight problem with these is that the prop and pop-off mount system has to stand the extra power - thus the plastic clips are harder and more brittle. Might pay to stock up on adapters and props or get a different prop mount system and more flexible 2-blade props.

I had the same experience. Before you know it its way up there and you have to cut throttle then continue flying but with mimimal throttle or else, dang its way up there again. lol And its so quiet you have to keep an eye on it or it will disaapear on you. Nice flyer, would recommend.
Hi cousin that red tail is by far my fav so far it sure is but just watch your vid of 51 miss Helen I’m going to look into ordering that one I also flew that yellow cub it a couple times it likes limes to go in to an uncontrolled nose dive right in to the field I fly when the kids r not playing softball or baseball games still like to fly with you some time when your done this way have to keep in touch
I think eventually the Corsair, Zero, etc will follow suit w/brushless..
