One of my favorite console releases ever, just because I've learned to like the Lite over the regular Switch after feeling the ergonomics and size/weight reduction. Grabbed 1 to keep sealed. Just hope we see these Hyrule editions on sale someday so I can grab a couple extras. Not a fan of any of the previous Switch Lite colors, but this one is ridiculously nice looking.
Not sure if you'd had the opportunity to play a Lite yet, but I have the OLED and Lite and the difference is really pretty minimal. The Lite has a great IPS screen, turn up the brightness 1 notch and the colors and blacks are actually nicely contrasted. It's an underrated system, people just feel like they need OLED because they hear in media that it's way better, and it isn't.
@MithosDagon oh cool can I order the whole thing with me sending the Unit to him? Because I don't live in the States, and shipping would cost more from my country
@enthused7591 its a Prefrence and your probably not wrong until you have it Just like in my case I have expreinced the OLED LG C2 Tvs and it's really does makes difference to me since my last Sony LED screen and since then my device has to be all OLED based otherwise looking at any not oled screen feels a bit off to me 😄 nowdays and Switch Oled makes the difference to me and also the size upgrade of the screen too
Heh, when I bought it at the store and saw the seals on the box, I had to do a quick search to ensure that was normal and not a return the store put stickers on. The last Nintendo console I bought that was sealed was a special edition DS console like 15 years ago.
Hell yes. The Switch Lite has been my first gaming console since Xbox 360, and my first handheld since GameBoy Advance, and it is an awesome system. Doesn’t hog up a TV so if you have a busy house you can still do your thing. Great for traveling. It’s dope
I got my Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition from GameStop. I'm never taking it out of the box though, as I bought it solely for display and collecting purposes.
Have you noticed that the Hyrule version is about 1.5-2 times quieter than the regular Nintendo Switch Lite? I have two consoles, and the new gold one is noticeably quieter. I've already checked all the settings, but the volume difference is still really loud
Thing for me is the eventual stinking drifting with the sticks. Seeing how its integrated onto the console too…man it’s unfortunate. Has there been work arounds?
I don’t understand how you get the 10 classic Zelda games with this. Do you have to download them to the handheld or do you only have access to them via the subscription?
You can if you want to waste your time and money. The IPS on a Switch Lite is like 98% as good as an OLED. I own multiple of each and OLED marketing is so overexaggerated. New high quality IPS screens are close to flawless. OLED is really almost unnoticeably better.
Screen is actually fine . Just picked up a lite and side by side with the OLED - the Lite screen is still good and I much prefer the size and weight of the Lite now I have tried it . Overall prefer the Lite as a handheld .
Almost no difference, I have both. OLED is so overblown, it's like a 3-5% difference in picture quality. Turn the brightness up 1 click on the Lite and you won't really much of a difference since a really good IPS has nice deep blacks and vivid colors as well. Always have. Don't believe youtubers and people in the media who tell you OLED makes a big difference because it's trivial.
@@adolfbilic8622 Same. The Lite's IPS screen is pretty much as good as my OLED. Marketing around OLED has people fully brainwashed into thinking they need them, even though it's like a 5% difference in quality.

@@enthused7591 Dude...no its not. The OLED is a substantial difference...the colors and contrast. Hey nice console. I have this still inbox. I owe 29.97 so technically it's not mine. I've a normal nsl and oled. I prefer the lite. But I have a dirty secret...I am hopelessly in love with my ndsl. It's still mint and only yesterday received a brand new cartridge in sealed cartridge case. I'll probably won't open my hyrule nsl unless my normal nsl is beyond repair and can't purchase a new one. Awesome vid and cool console.
I was at target and surprisingly. I saw one sitting. I decided to pass on it. I want it to say I own a gold switch but naaaaa. I need to die to my wants and budget lol
the fact that the Lite model can't be hooked up to a tv is a no go for me. They should have rebranded the name and dropped the word "Switch" since it doesn't switch anything
It looks ugly and cheap. At least the Zelda OLED had a cool design on both sides. This just looks like it was spray painted in a back yard. The game it comes with runs like ass too thanks to double buffer V-Sync where it constantly shifts between 30 fps and 60 fps.
man, i dont need it, but i want it.

same here lol
Get it. You’ll regret it if they ever become really hard to find.
I already got the yellow Lite but I'm thinking trading it for this one. Not sure if should I do it.
