When I say this I mean it from a place of love.. Austin reminds me of Retro Rick, at least in Rick's golden era from a couple years ago. While it is awesome to see Rick succeed in his new adventure, I feel that some UA-camrs get lost in trying to be relevant, make decisions where they think this move will put them ahead of other people, whereas our boy, Austin, he is in his own lane, doesn't care about competing with other people, just sticks to what he loves doing. Rare among UA-camrs these days tbh.
great video! I snagged a used switch lite on marketplace for like 30 bucks because it had a busted digitizer did a shell swap and new digitizer for about 40 and i love the thing! It's great for a compact on the go system
I’ve always enjoyed handheld gaming, and so the Switch Lite was actually my first Switch and I prefer using it when on trips and out of the house. My two other Switches mostly stay docked at home. You’ll probably want to get a grip for it if you don’t already have one.
Got my Switch Lite after replacing my old damaged original switch & love it. It's much more comfortable, more portable & the controls feel more responsive.
Just recently found your videos. Very good content. I am also from your area and did not realize that we had a half price books. Keep up the good work!
My first Switch was the Switch V2 which I bought back in 2022. I upgraded to the Switch OLED a month ago and I have no regrets. Personally I enjoy the 7 inch screen size for handhelds the most so that’s why I bought it. Plus the OLED screen is a big factor for me as I travel quite frequently so I just want to have the best screen quality possible for on the go. I got the Switch OLED on a massive discount, as over here in my country all Switch models have been significantly marked down. I got my unit for around USD 237 down from its original USD 350 so it was a really solid deal. The Switch Lite is still solid though, and the colors it comes in are all just perfect. I would have considered it if Nintendo allowed it to still output to the tv via one of those USB to HDMI adapters.
Mine is about 5 years old. It's teal and only a little nicked. That was a happy day for me because my last system before it was a red Gameboy advance sp during the Bush years.
I just got ordered a pre owned lite. I don't have any Nintendos anymore, and I've really missed it. NES was my first console back like 88. The gameplay on Nintendo games have always felt different to me. Maybe I'm just nostalgic.
I just bought another switch lite for an early bday gift for myself after having to sell my other one. Been loving Animal Crossing and Borderlands on it, haven't had this much fun in years gaming!
Bought turquoise switch lite last month, never regret buying it since it fits right in my uniqlo moon bag. I can play games wherever and whenever I want to 🤘🤘🤘
I used to have a Switch Lite I sold it and now I regret it I sold it because I couldn't afford the games I wanted but now that I've learned to budget I have a lot more money so I'm saving up for a new Switch Lite I can't wait to play Paper Mario And The Thousand Year Door and the Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon is coming out soon so I can't wait to play those games
I brought a Nintendo Switch Lite (similar as yours) but secondhand. It looks "like-new" when I get it and I bought like 2 cartridges from 2 random game shops and 1 free game from the eshop and it works great. My Nintendo Switch Lite doesn't come with the charger and any games but I bought the secondhand charger for Switch Lite as well.
Man, I just bought a used switch lite in light blue, came with a case, a game (gta), a sd expansion card OEM, and the charger. All for only $75 and the switch smells perfect new and has no problems or physical wear. Personally this was the best deal i’ve ever done.
I bought my switch lite a month ago and my the first time I owned a console and I can say it's all worth it! I didn't mind the sh*tty graphics of Hogwarts Legacy, the gameplay is fantastic. I didn't mind the crazy glitches of Pokemon Violet, everything in the open world was phenomenal. So so so happy that it wasn't too late to own this console.
even though i personally wouldn't buy the switch lite because of the missing option to dock it to the tv, getting the console and a free game for 200 is a really good deal that's hard to pass on.
I have the regular teal Switch lite, and I always like to keep the original packaging for everything. I got the New Horizons game as a Christmas gift. I love having physical games more than digital download. My top 3 favorite physical games are: Legends Arceus, Mario Kart 8, and New Horizons. I also have Sonic Forces and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but those are 4th and 5th on the list. I don’t really like or need anything else. Never got into Zelda.
I bought a hyrule edition just yesterday. I got it mainly for trips and travel. I have to say it's totally worth it in 2024. Especially getting nintendo online. With all the retro games the catalogs have, it's true nostalgia for me. I only have one actual physical game which is legend of zelda breath of the wild. But I plan to get more eventually. I considered it an early christmas gift lol 😂. But yeah, totally worth it.
Ive had mine for 3 years, ( No joycon drift, knock on wood) and honestly my only gripe about the system is the weak speakers. I have an Anbernic RG353M retro handheld and the speakers are MUCH better on that.
Great video...... Try to get the 2DS, I just recently got one and the size at first looked weird to me and not being able to close it like all the other DS AND 3DS'S was different. Now that I have one it's actually more comfortable to play on than the other ones because of its size and fits perfectly in hands.
If you dont mind learning to fix stick drift, I would have definitely recommended buying second hand. Pricing is good if you're willing to wait for a deal. Ive picked up 6 of these for my family at less than a third of retail each, sometimes with a memory card or a game included for that price as well. These devices can take an absolute beating and still work. Also, if the screen looks fine in pictures then any scratches wouldn't be significant enough to not be "fixed" by a tempered glass screen protector (they have some kind of liquid used for adhesion that tends to fill in scratches making them invisible). Stick drift is a problem though, but at least it's a cheap fix.
I got the Timmy and Tommy switch lite for $160 last week! Wanted to get animal crossing anyways so I guess the lite costed $100. That’s a great deal right there. Finishing up my backlog before next gen switch comes out next year.
@@Valentinacastilloferron I hope you found it. But as soon as you launch the e-shop or if you go to software included, you should be able to redeem and get a copy of animal crossing linked to your Nintendo online account.

You want special edition. Hyrule edition switch lite is here for preorder. Yup preorder just now. I have grey one is getting old. Cool brand new on the way end September. Yea have oled.
Why buy another switch lite if you have a switch lite? Get an OLED. Also, why pre order it? Just like the animal crossing ones there are going to be many of those on literally every shelf. Nintendo is going to be selling them as long as possible to get rid of old stock. You will he able to walk in the store and grab one.
