@@glowdonk You mean the switch? The Wii U is gaining nothing from the switch's popularity yet the switch is feeding off of the games that the Wii U had
I think the Switch was kind of rushed out. The Wii U was such a failure for Nintendo that they needed a new console to get them out of their rut as soon as possible. That would explain why the Switch has a lot less personality; there was no time to add that in before launch. If the Switch 2 doesn't have at least a _little_ more personality, then there are gonna be questions.
and that right there, is nintendo's main problem! they never go back and revise what they do. the switch and splatoon 3 are like kindred spirits. nintendo creating some big glaring problems, and then masking around them, and kicking them down the road until it's too late to fix them. and now, people have to glaze them to feel like they haven't wasted their money; and praise them for behavior, features, and games that would've made the fans throatpunch them circa 2013. they can't create personality for the switch now, they've pushed it way too far. i think they originally intended for it to be a lot more, but i think the Wii U's failure made the company as a whole pretty spiteful. there's been a big shift in attitude since that era ended. personally, what i think happened is that they rushed the console, saw everyone loved it (because it was the only option, 3ds had just officially stopped being produced then) and then felt like they didn't have to change anything.
Marketing was bad There were no games even the PS5 was more games than the Wii U Extremely laggy the things like the menus, Mii verse just lagged everything you had to wait like 2 minutes just to enter a game Extremely just a Nintendo Console And overall a bad console
The thing with internet browsers is that no future console will ever have an internet browser because with an internet browser, it's easier to hack the system.
I think the main problem with the Wii U is that everyone thought it was Nintendo's attempt to replace the Wii --- which is irreplaceable in our hearts, especially back when the Wii U first launched. Seems like an alright console on its own, or if it were clearly a Wii accessory working alongside the main Wii console, but I had no clue how to think of it except disappointment that the Wii was losing support.
I don’t think Nintendo will replace miiverse because the main reason they shut it down was of course online and that other things started to grow like discord and twitter, this made Nintendo think there was no longer a need for miiverse
I owned wii u since 2015 and honestly I like the features it has.Its party line up of games were so good! The Wii U also had lot of personality and feel to it was better
The reason why Nintendo Directs changed was because Iwata passed away. If you want proof of this, watch Sakurai’s last video. He talks about Iwata and how good he was for the company and for him.
The switch feels like it lacks any personality any of its previous systems had. Booting up the system, its just kinda basic. The 3DS had themes and badges to decorate. Wiiu had miis litter the background. Even wii had a tv channel style menu system with some channels to mess with. If i remember there was plans, as a "theme" tab is in the options menu. It just shows the switch was likely a rushed project, i can only imagine what this console would be like if they spent more time polishing it.
I'll tell you what the Wii U did better than the Switch. Literally everything. Assuming we're talking about the consoles themselves anyway, as the Switch undoubtedly has a better game library. But menu music exists on the Wii U. Full backwards compatibility with the Switch. Way more apps (eg. video calls, but also stuff like Netflix). GamePad. TV Remote. Pro Controller. Way more creative than the Switch ever was. Even the general feel of the console is miles ahead. I have more nostalgia for my Wii U than my Switch despite getting the Switch first.
@@PigeonNHL Not the game library, I mean purely the console itself. Counting game library is always dubious at best because it always devolves into questions like "Does that mean everything before the current console is worthless because it is always just a few handful of exclusives that never get ported?"
@@lpfan4491 Well, what's better about the Switch itself than the Wii U? Best thing I can think of is the fact that the Switch is hybrid, and imo that just limits game options and ramps up the price of the console.
@@PigeonNHL Can be taken outside, control sticks are easier to replace and higher battery life on average than the Gamepad and other small, tiny things. It's the most minor upgrades considering it comes with a bunch of *s like "Battery life still sucks and you can also just give the gamepad a better battery yourself" or "WiiU control sticks are infinitely better and thus barely have to be replaced", but it is upgrades. I am just being overly correct in that it not being a 100% losing comparison for the Switch.
The Wii U Gamepad and the Nintendo 3DS offered virtual surround sound... the Switch in handheld tops out in stereo... which is big shame because surround sound through two speakers was really neat.
@@gamecubeplayer I know but give it a try. I don't know of particular software taking use of the feature but you can listen to it in the settings. I know of other devices just recently starting to use binaural audio while nintendo did so a decade ago. And they must have also found that at the time, nobody used the feature but having 3d sound is better than Dolby.
The DS had free online voice chat to in games like the mainline Pokemon DS games meanwhile the Switch doesn't AND requires a phone for it. Wii U had MUCH higher end hardware sensors like gryo and stuff too which is a complaint about veteran Splatoon players along with the higher quality higher rate servers used for the Wii U despite it being free. Wii had news, weather, voting channels, in game special limited time map events on Mario Kart Wii etc. The Wii U's legacy content services were already a big step from the Wii but compared to the Switch's the Switch's are non-existent and pathetic. Everything is subscription, renting, online DRM only. No DS games on TV like the Wii U, no Wii games, or fair price buying of near of anything. These things aren't appreciated or known enough

I absolutely loved this feature especially in games like Zombey U. I really wished this feature would somehow return. The gamepad could be used in so many creative and good uses i feel like. because it didn't need it. the atmosphere was enough. not everything needs to be customized when it's already good, and i'd rather no themes or colors than illusion/baiting of themes and colors to be honest
Not everything needs to be there. You don't need the visual flair of both the WiiU and 3DS(even tho that would be rad). The issue is that Switch has neither.
Finally someone gets it. From a performance standpoint, the Switch is a massive leap. Everything else tanked though. The Switch has no personality and personality is what Nintendo is all about. It is basically a Wii U gamepad with all the unique features stripped out. Basic crap controllers, no camera and mic, doesn't act as a second screen, and the whole UI just quietly mutters "bleh". The only unique aspect of the switch is completely irrelevant because the Switch was made to be a cash cow, not a hand crafted Nintendo classic. The Wii U oozes personality and to this day, every single Wii U controller I own works like it did day 1. From the rounded corners to the subtle music and the off white palette, the Wii U felt like home. The Switch is a box full of boxes devoid of sound and made of cheap plastic and drifty joysticks. If you removed all the branding, you would never think the Switch was a Nintendo console while the Wii U is instantly recognizable.
It’s fantastic seeing ppl producing & uploading Wii U videos like this because millions have never experienced the wonderful features and plethora of classics, indie and unique games that were available on the Wii U.
I think something the Wii U did better was 2 screens. One on the TV and one on the game pad. If the Switch 2 doesn’t have this then I probably won’t get it, I need a Nintendo Land port, remake, or sequel
I love how the Wii U allowed you to store *up to 3.000 Mii characters* while the Switch only allows 100. And there's even no convenient way to import or export Mii characters on the Switch, unless you have amiibos, while you can easily use QR codes with the Wii U's Mii Maker. Everytime when I look at the Switch eShop, I can't stop laughing at this amateurish designed PowerPoint presentation they call the eShop.
According to reddit some users confirmed that to be true meanwhile when i had a switch for like a few weeks before giving it up it honestly feels plain and ripped off some of the emulator games were little.. where as wii U has lots more.. @@pixel_fan1
The only two ways the switch is better, is the newer games that were released on switch but not Wii U (Tears of the Kingdom for example), and the fact that it’s completely portable….
I really struggle to understand how Miyomoto struggled for so long and went through so many fails to bring the Miis to life, just for them to be dumped after a couple of consoles.
Can we get away from calling them "Switch 1" and "Switch 2" please? Given the failure of the WiiU, I think there is a 0% chance Nintendo will include the Switch brand name in it's new product.
I've been saying that they need to add the Wii U Chat, Miiverse, Browser, Themes and a way better Eshop along with reviews for AGES It's crazy that they've downgraded our experience with a console so much and charge us for it
Everything the Switch did better than the Wii U: Sell more than 13 million units. Has a more quality games both 1st and 3rd party. Didn't become forgotten by the casual market.
I have the Wii U since last year, hacked it and its actually incredible, i've been playing with my brother at Smash 4 with Urgandan Knuckles Waluigi and Trump mods since this week
I'm late to the game with the Wii u because back than I had no interest in it. Into I bought one myself now I like it. Glad I gave it a second chance.😊
One thing I hope Nintendo brings back (even thought it was on the 3DS and not the Wii U) is Mii Plaza. I remember back in the early to mid 2010's when you could just go to Walmart with a 3DS getting so excited when I saw the green light on. Then you went to Mii Plaza and there would be 3 random miis who would play games with you.
My family and I do family game nights all the time, and it's almost always a unanimous vote to play on the Wii U and play Nintendo Land. I remember buying the thing back in 2014, and the memories I make with it to this day will never be beat!
But you can't forget people wanted the Netflix like based virtual console course they complained about having to always re buy the same games so it's not entirely Nintendo's fault it's what the community wanted
The Miiverse was truly a good social app. Everyone was nice, there was no toxicity and people gave help to players stuck on certain level or had questions.
@ Well I never met anyone who was being a dick in there, plus I saw forums were players were praising the Miiverse for the same thing I pointed out. If met toxic players there well sorry you experienced that??
Well, I’m gonna buy a Wii U console later in the future when I get the money from my job, and I’m gonna play with it and keep it as a memento of my days of playing with it from the past and into the future! Well the Wii U had SOME advantages over the switch, I’ll never forgive those who made it flop! In an alternate universe the Wii U is majorly successful!
Yes, like the Vita, maybe the Wii U was released at the wrong time in history. Many people were buying iPhones etc. If a version of Wii U was released today, it would surely be a success.
Anyone else just turn on the Wii U in the menu and just lay down on the floor as the menu music played in the background That hit so much more differently
this is probably my favorite analogy for this entire thing. the switch to the wii u, is like ocarina of time to zelda 2. originally started as a remake to improve on a failure, but receives all the credit and love for good aspects that came before, even if it might be objectively better than its predecessor. ocarina of time would not be what it is if zelda 2 did not fail, and the same can be said for the switch and the wii u.
as u were saying they should add themes like the 3ds did. they should also add the theme shop and make them come with music even the ones that come preinstalled so it’s not that boring.
So i'm a Wii U player and i just have a Switch. To be honest, it's clear to say that Nintendo Land is right, so fun to play with your friends or even family. It's just a sort of Wii party U. The Wii U means alot to me, i recieved it on one of my B-days. My friends really like Nintendo Land, and Super Smash Bros. (Wii U) It's just really some way to relax, but my 5 favorites on the Wii U are: 1. Nintendo Land (Tbh they dont have ranking on good or bad) 2. New Super Mario Bros. U 3. New Super Mario Bros. Wii 4. Super Mario 3D World 5. Wii party U
One word/name: Mii Ok, the Wii maybe was the best when it comes to Mii, there are many games for Mii, like Wii sports, Wii sports resort, Wii fit, Wii party etc. WiiU did some less, but still did Wii Party U, and that was pretty nice But Nintendo Switch just picked Miitopia from 3DS, upgrade the quality a bit and thats about it. And Mii maker is hidden in the settings. Hopefully they make some Mii games and don’t hide the Mii Maker on Switch 2…
The switch does have a 32 gig and 64 gig variant, and im sure the next one will be at least 64. A major reason for not having things like chat and street pass is to protect kids from predators and inappropriate language. I think theres no browser because it is a common vulnerability for hackers. I dont expect to see chat or a web browser on the next nintendo console.
Streetpass is no more because it wastes a lot of battery on background/standby searching for other consoles nearby. Battery life is important on a handheld device. The current Switch is like a tablet, it just use the network card when asked by the game, that is why deactivating wifi doesnt save as much battery as on the 3DS.
I'ma be real, i did not know that the black and white Wii U consoles had different amounts of storage, i remember having the black one back when I was with Grandma, i got for my birthday, i just liked the color i didn't know it had 32GB OF STORAGE.
4:28 Well that would be a problem too, like for example: if you want to named user "Mario_Pro_64" (example) on you switch 2, that would be impossible because then it would be a another user name " Mario_Pro_64" and then it would be 2 user with the same name, And you friend would be confused which one is you.
Imagine having a way to communicate with people in-game on the same console you bought, and had to PAY for an online subscription for. The fact the PS Vita has a party function built in 5 years before the Switch, yet it does not, is insane. It should not be down to each game or having a phone on you with an app. Literally stupid.
I liked the wii better then the switch in some ways, Its not really the switch's fault, but i liked the wii u for the multiplayer aspect, it was easy to get more wii remotes and play with family, but no one will really play the switch with me (to be fair like i said thats not really the switch's fault. The switch does have better games) i did enjoy a lot about the wii u
Wait, the black Wii U was the better one? I still have my Wii U and it’s the black one. I just thought they were the same with the only difference being the color
After owning Nintendo consoles and handheld since 8-Bit era I must say the switch is the worst Nintendo console I've had, specially after I owned a Wii U and a 3DS. Now let me say just one feature Wii I had and switch don't. A game purchased by a account on Wii U could be played by another profiles, that's means everyone will had their own save data. On Switch after I payed to play online and had access to NES and SNES games my little brother asked to play on my switch and I created his profile because I don't want people using my save data, but Nintendo switch didn't let him play, the switch shows a message saying that for him to be able to play he must also had purchased switch online for his profile, ridiculous.
This is for @NintendoAU to see: DO NOT the switch 2 online feature pay to use, and I don't care what reason you have for this, DO NOT make me and other future switch 2 users have to pay a limited use of online play.
You know what's the worst thing of all with the hours log on Switch ? IF YOU CHANGE MACHINE IT RESETS ! I had to change last year for an OLED since my switch stopped working and every log was swiped out from existence. When I transferred the account, it still stated "Player X hours or more" but only for the last 20 games played and when that game is not on that list anymore, when it comes back if you boot it up, it resets to the time only played on the new hardware. You can have Parental control thing but if you want to change hour on the console, you need to disconnect the account, thus deleting every data on the app.
People act like the sales and everything else that wouldn't affect us is a valid reason to hate on the WiiU. Don't appreciate the negative words used to describe it. One thing I will mention is how Miiverse actually posted randomized posts in the Smash Bros. WiiU stage: Miiverse. Also... WHAT? I knew Fire Emblem: Blazing Blade was on VC, but didn't even know Sacred Stones was.
We need to be able to play either spotify, YT music, apple music or nintendo music in the background while we play games in handheld mode. I also think that they could put a small camera in the screen at the top, similar to the samsung S24. Edit: After watching this video, I think that they should make a regular switch 2 with 64gb of the crappy integrated sd card storage thing that's in the switch and a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro with a 128GB m.2 ssd and possibly enhanced graphics with possible 4K support. Maybe that's too much to ask for.
I think it would be cool for the Miiverse or something like it to come back, but there's a problem. Nintendo tries to be as kid-friendly as possible, which requires a lot of moderation --- especially as Nintendo supports a lot of languages and people can also use unsupported ones in communication. How could they moderate dozens of languages (not even getting into conlangs) under really strict rules (potentially not allowing swearing of any kind), with a lot of posts being made every second? Nintendo had to face this question with the Wii U, and their answer was shutting down the service.
If they have a second screen accessory for the Switch 2 I would love a Nintendo Land 2, Nintendo Land by far was the most played Wii U Game on my Wii U, because it is an awesome party game
I didn’t own a Wii U but now I kind of wish I did. The control pad seems interesting and the graphics look good even if they weren’t cutting edge. Too bad there wasn’t a lot of third party support and I’d say even some of the first party games weren’t exactly what people were looking for at the time.
this is exactly why I miss the WiiU! I love my switch, dont' get me wrong, but the WiiU was so unique in so many ways. I miss the WiiU Chat, Internet Browser and Miiverse :/

and that right there, is nintendo's main problem! they never go back and revise what they do. the switch and splatoon 3 are like kindred spirits. nintendo creating some big glaring problems, and then masking around them, and kicking them down the road until it's too late to fix them. and now, people have to glaze them to feel like they haven't wasted their money; and praise them for behavior, features, and games that would've made the fans throatpunch them circa 2013. they can't create personality for the switch now, they've pushed it way too far. i think they originally intended for it to be a lot more, but i think the Wii U's failure made the company as a whole pretty spiteful. there's been a big shift in attitude since that era ended. personally, what i think happened is that they rushed the console, saw everyone loved it (because it was the only option, 3ds had just officially stopped being produced then) and then felt like they didn't have to change anything.
They had 7 years to add personality to the switch but added paid online services instead 😭🙏
One thing I miss is the stylus. As well as the duel screen mechanics. The Wii U was a great system for artists because of that.
Bro, I bought a Wii U about a week ago and my words are how was this console so overlooked!
Fr I got one for my birthday when I was younger and never knew people hated it
@ yeah, it’s marketing like said in the video made it flop horribly
Marketing was bad
There were no games even the PS5 was more games than the Wii U
Extremely laggy the things like the menus, Mii verse just lagged everything you had to wait like 2 minutes just to enter a game
Extremely just a Nintendo Console
And overall a bad console
I got also an Wii u 3 days ago
The PS5 is like the worst selling PlayStation, but I’d rather have over a PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 Pro.
eShop Music, Music everywhere, Friendlist, Can play almost every game from old consoles, no online lag
The thing with internet browsers is that no future console will ever have an internet browser because with an internet browser, it's easier to hack the system.
Watching Wii u videos were my childhood
I prefer the Nintendo Switch tbh.
Totally agree. I'm optimistic Switch 2 will bring the personality cause it's just not there rn
It's almost as if they deliberately made it have as little personality as possible as a way to distance themselves from the Wii U...
It didn't do everything better than Switch. Just almost everything.
@@lpfan4491 If you mean the game library, the Switch has a much better one. Imo nothing else is better about the Switch though
The Wii U Gamepad and the Nintendo 3DS offered virtual surround sound... the Switch in handheld tops out in stereo... which is big shame because surround sound through two speakers was really neat.
surround sound through 2 speakers? that doesn't make any sense
@@gamecubeplayer it's binaural audio so pretty much, 3d audio converted to come out of two speakers but sound as if coming out of multiple speakers.
Nintendo probably removed the internet browser out of spite. Because the internet browser was used to hack the Wii U.
15:12 You are kidding me, the Wii u's internet browser was notoriously awful to navigate
The Switch successor better not actually be called the Switch 2…
Switch 2 U
this aged like milk, but im not sure why u wouldnt like it, playstation uses that naming scheme with numbers from day 1 and it works perfectly
@ that’s why it’s so boring and generic…
@@awesomeocelot7475 ok but like that u know directly thats a successor to the switch not an addon or a variation of the switch, thats what happened with the wii u, many thought it was just an addon. Like nintendo switch works well, why change it? "Dont fix smth thats not broken they say" (epic games doesnt know that phrase)
On the Wii U, when you started a game, it had a unique loading screen with music. For the switch, it’s just a black screen.
that was my biggest disappointment. epecially since when you se on the eshop right? there like a full screen game art thats usually the first picture. that would have been perfect to use while the game loads :(
Am i the only one who absolutely loved interacting with the map or item menu on the gamepad and having the main game on the big screen without interrupting any gameplay flow? I absolutely loved this feature especially in games like Zombey U. I really wished this feature would somehow return. The gamepad could be used in so many creative and good uses i feel like. It would fix a big issue i have with BotW and TotK where i can just pause at any time and just heal myself again and again.
Note:
The Wii U doesn't have color reskins for the entire home menu. It only has for folders in the home menu
The switch only has white and black, Wii U is better
because it didn't need it. the atmosphere was enough. not everything needs to be customized when it's already good, and i'd rather no themes or colors than illusion/baiting of themes and colors to be honest
Not everything needs to be there. You don't need the visual flair of both the WiiU and 3DS(even tho that would be rad). The issue is that Switch has neither.
@@notverzeeI prefer the Switch
@@FiremanSamBoy2008 okay firemansamboy
I honestly prefer the Nintendo Switch tbh.
It's almost as if they deliberately gave the Switch as little personality as possible as a means to spite the Wii U...
They’d have to remake it because it really was a Wii U tech demo
I love how the Wii U allowed you to store *up to 3.000 Mii characters* while the Switch only allows 100. And there's even no convenient way to import or export Mii characters on the Switch, unless you have amiibos, while you can easily use QR codes with the Wii U's Mii Maker.
Everytime when I look at the Switch eShop, I can't stop laughing at this amateurish designed PowerPoint presentation they call the eShop.
Wait. The WiiU could store that many more than the Switch!?
The fact the Switch is just a Wii U lite shows how good it was
The big reason that Wii u is better than switch is you can play Wii u ,Wii ,N64 ,snes ,nes ,GameCube ,and ds etc
WTF WHAT
@pixel_fan1 no seriously google it
no the wii u isn't better than the switch
According to reddit some users confirmed that to be true meanwhile when i had a switch for like a few weeks before giving it up it honestly feels plain and ripped off some of the emulator games were little.. where as wii U has lots more.. @@pixel_fan1
The only two ways the switch is better, is the newer games that were released on switch but not Wii U (Tears of the Kingdom for example), and the fact that it’s completely portable….
I really struggle to understand how Miyomoto struggled for so long and went through so many fails to bring the Miis to life, just for them to be dumped after a couple of consoles.
We need a mode that lets you play old switch games, the Wii U did it with the Wii, so it’s possible.
Can we get away from calling them "Switch 1" and "Switch 2" please? Given the failure of the WiiU, I think there is a 0% chance Nintendo will include the Switch brand name in it's new product.
The Switch games will be playa le on the next console and NSO will continue as well, what makes you think that the Switch brand will be discontinued?
the 2 is what makes all the difference, wii 2 wouldn’t have had nearly as many confusions
I've been saying that they need to add the Wii U Chat, Miiverse, Browser, Themes and a way better Eshop along with reviews for AGES
It's crazy that they've downgraded our experience with a console so much and charge us for it
Everything the Switch did better than the Wii U:
Sell more than 13 million units.
Has a more quality games both 1st and 3rd party.
Didn't become forgotten by the casual market.
So basically, very little that is actually its own doing vs the marketing.
@@lpfan4491I prefer the Nintendo Switch
I have the Wii U since last year, hacked it and its actually incredible, i've been playing with my brother at Smash 4 with Urgandan Knuckles Waluigi and Trump mods since this week
The Wii U is just a homebrew beast
@@Dabe-ic4guexactly
I hope the switch 2 doesn't advertise the console like they advertised the Wii u
I miss the Wii U era
I'm late to the game with the Wii u because back than I had no interest in it. Into I bought one myself now I like it. Glad I gave it a second chance.😊
The Wii U has Yoshi's Wooly World while the Switch has Yoshi Buys Ripoff Products at Aldi's
The Wii U menu was magical in every way.
Menu music, such an iconic thing but suddenly stopped after wii u
The fact the channel is named SwitchStop is wild. Wii U is goated
What Miiverse were you using where everyone was nice? 😅
@ Well I never met anyone who was being a dick in there, plus I saw forums were players were praising the Miiverse for the same thing I pointed out. If met toxic players there well sorry you experienced that??
My Switch is definitely showing its age, every time I get a new game or dlc, I have to archive something or it won't download
Nintendo land was/is my favourite multiplayer game just because of the variety. The amount of happy memories I have with that game is insane.
In an alternate universe, the Wii U may have lasted as long as the PS4 (so like till today or 2 years ago)
Yes, like the Vita, maybe the Wii U was released at the wrong time in history. Many people were buying iPhones etc. If a version of Wii U was released today, it would surely be a success.
FUCK THEY GOT XENOBLADE X TOO!!!
I am going to get a Wii U second hand at Christmas so I can play games that never came over.
Anyone else just turn on the Wii U in the menu and just lay down on the floor as the menu music played in the background
That hit so much more differently
What I want for Nintendo's next console is to play movies, bring back video calls, and put more streaming networks on it.
this is probably my favorite analogy for this entire thing. the switch to the wii u, is like ocarina of time to zelda 2. originally started as a remake to improve on a failure, but receives all the credit and love for good aspects that came before, even if it might be objectively better than its predecessor. ocarina of time would not be what it is if zelda 2 did not fail, and the same can be said for the switch and the wii u.
omg free online, social media, facetime, switch 2 needs all this
as u were saying they should add themes like the 3ds did. they should also add the theme shop and make them come with music even the ones that come preinstalled so it’s not that boring.
I missed out on the Nintendo Wii U
So i'm a Wii U player and i just have a Switch. To be honest, it's clear to say that Nintendo Land is right, so fun to play with your friends or even family. It's just a sort of Wii party U.
The Wii U means alot to me, i recieved it on one of my B-days. My friends really like Nintendo Land, and Super Smash Bros. (Wii U) It's just really some way to relax, but my 5 favorites on the Wii U are:
1.
Nintendo Land (Tbh they dont have ranking on good or bad)
2.
New Super Mario Bros. U
3.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
4.
Super Mario 3D World
5.
Wii party U
Unironically almost everything. The few things the Switch does better come with caveats.
I miss back when the only person you had to pay to use the internet was the one who actually supplied it.
The Wii U was undeniably better than the Switch. It shouldn't even be a debate.
5:35 wow i wonder what it is
I liked the fact my Wii U controlled my tv. I thought that feature was going to go to the Switch joycons too.
One word/name: Mii
Ok, the Wii maybe was the best when it comes to Mii, there are many games for Mii, like Wii sports, Wii sports resort, Wii fit, Wii party etc.
WiiU did some less, but still did Wii Party U, and that was pretty nice
But Nintendo Switch just picked Miitopia from 3DS, upgrade the quality a bit and thats about it.
For me, the Wii U will forever have a special place in my heart. Far more than the Switch, despite the hours I put into it.
i thik something what is way better than a nintendo online chat modell is support for applications like discord
Yep Black versions of a Console always better but it starts ya with 32 GB instead of 8 GB the Original White has.
I hope Nintendo is taking notes, and learn some minor mistakes from the Switch and gains some inspirations from the Wii U.
Paid online is a scam
Kinda wish switch 2 would have a stylus included. Would make the touch screen more fun.
Free online play. Everything else would better with a phone app.
Not to mention dropping their bs lawsuit against Palworld.
The log is janky as-is. It just forgot some of the earlier games I played and lists them as "Never played".
Well, to be fair, the switch brought a lot more Mario games
The Wii U should have been named “Nintendo Wii Pro Connect”
People act like the sales and everything else that wouldn't affect us is a valid reason to hate on the WiiU. Don't appreciate the negative words used to describe it.
One thing I will mention is how Miiverse actually posted randomized posts in the Smash Bros. WiiU stage: Miiverse.
Also... WHAT? I knew Fire Emblem: Blazing Blade was on VC, but didn't even know Sacred Stones was.
The Switch has two variations of storage.
The original Switch has 32GB of storage, and the Switch OLED has 64GB of storage.
The Lone U glazer, I gotta give my props.
this is a video that I wanted to make as a blog, literally like word for word lmao
Imagine accidentally posting your Friend Code as a Big UA-camr... 💀
If they have a second screen accessory for the Switch 2 I would love a Nintendo Land 2, Nintendo Land by far was the most played Wii U Game on my Wii U, because it is an awesome party game
Netflix was on nintendo switch but it got discontinued
I didn’t own a Wii U but now I kind of wish I did. The control pad seems interesting and the graphics look good even if they weren’t cutting edge. Too bad there wasn’t a lot of third party support and I’d say even some of the first party games weren’t exactly what people were looking for at the time.
No way Xenoblade Chronicles X is finally on the switch...
this is exactly why I miss the WiiU! I love my switch, dont' get me wrong, but the WiiU was so unique in so many ways. I miss the WiiU Chat, Internet Browser and Miiverse :/
I honestly prefer the Nintendo Switch, the Wii U is a dead console.
