The majority of bmw owners will floor the pedal to the floor, and take corners like a nascar driver, but they ignore all schedule maintenance 😂😂trade it in for the next sucker, good 👍 video Nathan
I had the Michelin AS3 on my E55 AMG. They were good all around, and a lot quieter than Continental Supersports on my other AMG. Should you tighten the inner bolts of the upper control arms when the suspension is in position (i.e. loaded)?
Aren't you supposed to do final torque specs on your control arms with the car on the ground (or wheel supported) so that you don't put inappropriate pre-load on the rubber bushing?
Yes you are correct. The new bushes will get ruined quickly if you do it this way. Suspension needs to be at normal ride height when torquing the inner part of those new arms.
@@NathansBMWWorkshop you ever drop a new motor in that black 325xi you had? Need to replace the motor in mine and was hoping for some pointers. One of the damn cylinders isn't holding compression, and yes I tried the soak it in injector cleaner trick, no freaking luck.
Hey Nathan please post the tire name and info man please. I’m needing to replace the ones on the M5 and I’m trying to figure out what brand to go with man. Thanks
What?! Did you just say you'd be in 'deep deep trouble if you were caught in the rain with the Michelin SuperSport or 4S' Bro... Ive had three sets of the SuperSports n Im on my second set of the 4S and Ive never had a problem once. AND I LIVE IN SEATTLE!!! Love u Nate but sometimes the crap that comes out of your mouth is sad.
I gotta disagree with Nathan too. I just put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4s on my E64 M6 and drove from Florida to Connecticut and back in some really heavy rain on I95 and these tires were great. Granted, they were brand new. I guess we all have our opinions. Great M5 videos.

Going to be a solid car when you’re done! Cheers, George

We use the trans jack to lift the spindle to ride height then tighten the bolts
Y rated tires are up to about 186mph, W rated tires are 168

The cup tires are worthless in rain , per the sets I have had in the past
Agree. I've had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and A/S 4s in all kinds of conditions and they've been ridiculously good.

Great M5 videos.
Maybe cup tires are different than A/S 4s.
