I just upgraded mine, the first big improvement that I see right away is when you open up things inside DSM, everything feels smoother, faster, nicer...

The extra memory isn't available any longer since I upgraded the OS to 7.x. Anyone know what to do?
so it was okay in OS 6.x and then suddenly stopped on OS 7.x

I would never recommend this, even if it works. You should atleast have both memory the same type so 4 x 4=8 is all you need..
Why is it that the majority of these videos have the most EAR BLEEDING Horrible background music? I literally stopped the video at about a minute.
