@@maestroukr they were spaced 6 feet apart, at the time, pretty standard high end classical audio technique, the idea is that the standard spacing of home speakers would be 6 ft, IIRC. Lots of variants now, often 16 inches and more multi-micing now, then "minimal micing" was all the rage..no EQ, no dynamics. EQ and dynamic processing are still kind frowned upon, but occasionally used with great discretion.
Thank you so much! I guess it was a momentary attack of modesty... I have posted a lot of recordings I have played on on my youtube channel, and I have a blog on cello related topics at nycellist.com

Outstanding. I am excited and motivated to learn more cello pieces. I love this instrument. It's amazing.
Wonderful Cellist, Artist and Human Being ...
Many thanks for the kind words, Garfield! I hope that you are enjoying some peace (with and perhaps some good fishing) in these difficult days!
Some of the best cello repertoire written to be honest.
actually perfect 🥰
Congratulations Clay! Amazing recording, and much needed!
Thanks Yuriy! A pair of Sennheiser MHK20s. A long time ago...1993 IIRC
@@nycellist a pair of omnis or just the one?
A spaced pair, consecutive serial numbers. Check out my trio, the Arden Trio’s recording of Ravel Trio; 3 MKH 20s

Such beautiful cello playing. What a nice discovery. Bravo! Why not put the name of the cellist on the title, so we all know? ;))
