- Etihad have outdone themselves on this 5 hour flight from Rome to London. I paid just £70 for the one way Economy ticket. At that low price it pretty much blows all competition out of the water...

I have flown on 28 etihad planes last year and never had a bad experience.
And i habe flown on 16 Qatar Planes… and on 9 of them, i had an bad experience… so Etihad is much better😅
Interesting to see the current E-Box logo being applied to the old Thales system. At one point, Etihad were going to retire their whole fleet except the 787s and A350s due to the pandemic. How the times have changed!

Fantastic video. Fiumicino Airport is looking great these days- a real improvement from when l was last there. Etihad have got things spot on in my opinion on this route- with great service and incredible value I'm unsure why anyone would want to fly with Wizz between Rome and Abu Dhabi!

The B777-300 has 4 seats in the middle. That's good. I hoped that it will NOT retire.
Some airlines actually have the 777 with 3 seats in the middle. Ethiopian and Japan Airlines for example. Etihad do have 4 middle seats as you say.

41A, the final row of the middle economy cabin. There’s a wall behind it but recline is still fine

can i ask how tall you are please? i have just booked row 41a too and husband is 6ft 3
I'm 5ft 6 so whilst this seat was great for me, I imagine your husband will struggle. A perk of being short is legroom is never usually an issue
Why do they have a camera on the IFE?
It's just a cool little feature to have I guess
If you're anywhere above 5'5"" AVOID Boeings 777 with extremely dense 3-4-3 layout
