hello friends!,
thank you so much for stopping by here, in this second vlog of my board exam little journey, i share with you a few days of studying with some frustrations & most importantly taking care of myself and trying to have fun in life despite all.
today there was a thunderstorm and september really feels like it's coming up so nicely... my heart is full.

7:38 literally me every single day, i show up at my table every single day but i just can't study properly..like i could literally sit a whole day at my table and learn almost nothing it's very hard thing to accept that..I mean I make effort every single day to study but my brain just won't work and then i feel guilty when i have to go to sleep cause i don't feel that I accomplished anything that day
I think that I might have adhd, since I was always like this but It's much harder now since i am a med student and there so much more things to do..and on top of all that I can't even get diagnosed in my country and there is no adhd medication
Anyways, Maria keep up the good work I hope everything will work out for everyone
we definitely have to work harder and we’ve always adapted to do this. it is unfair but not being neurotypical also has its perks - we’re so creative and adaptable!! i trust us to get through this.. even though we do have to work harder than most for the same results. i believe in you!! so keep going 💗💗💗 and take adequate breaks, it can be exhausting! but we’re doing so well 🥐✨💌

the heat also kills my will to do anything, even if I force myself to follow through, so you're not alone in that one! Just this week I was surprised at how much I was getting done in comparison to the past few weeks and then I realized that it's mostly because the temperature has dropped enough for it to be bearable to go outside 🥲

Olá! será que me podias recomendar os teus sítios favoritos para estudar em Lisboa (cafés, bibliotecas?). Também estudo cá mas sinto que não conheço muitos
olá!! experimenta as bibliotecas das diferentes faculdades (o primeiro dia onde estudei aqui foi na Nova SBE e gostei muito) e municipais (galveias, são lázaro, centro cultural belém, alcântara, hospital de são josé, sant'anna...) - atenção aos horários porque algumas fecham para almoço ou mais cedo!, caleidoscópio, padarias portuguesas, starbies! gosto muito de todos estes, depende do que estiver a sentir nesse dia - algo mais calmo ou mais vivo!

I have an exam too in october to enter residency so i know how you are feeling ( i am using sketchy internal medecine for preparation and it helped me a lot )
helloo, yes it is - med students at the end of the sixth and last year, if they want to enter a portuguese residency must do this exam (150 questions in 4hrs) in november. we start foundation year in january and then along the foundation year, grades are released and we start choosing residency spots to start the following year. // this is the conventional route of course!

I think that's crazy that in other countries you really don't have a support on gyms! In Brazil every single gym has instructors to give support to you and make your plan of work outs. And you don't have to pay more for it. It's included in the membership. So, for me, that's crazy the idea of you having to start from the zero without a specialized person to give you support and avoid you from getting hurt.
