meranda Jh I would recommend this brand of camper. Ya this one had issues but they all will. They fixed all of them. Most of the issues should have been caught by the rv dealer. I would recommend getting a dual axle version. This isn’t my camper it is my friends. I had him get the single axle because he has issues backing it. If you take the time to learn how to back get dual axle.

@@meranda0484 If I had the $$, a place to put it (would it fit in standard garage door?), and something to pull it WITH, I'd use it as a pout house. Lol. I'm just WAITING for the day I have my own driveway and 2.5+ garage space and side slab. If I don't capitulate and just buy a bus! Lol
The point is being off-grid of course. I'm used to motorcycles, so while I DID have heat (thank you Gerbings heated clothing and Honda for giving us more than enough power...) I never had an A/C you don't have to THINK about (due to old wiring and lack of a thermostat. Works extremely well, but obviously you shouldn't wait for it to turn off, because it doesn't know that part. 1960s, I think).
I would like a big shower. I'd like to have seen the big guy go in and pretend and describe height and weight. I did that at EVERY last shower in the RV show. From 10k to 450k bus. A few were for the Japanese, apparently. One had a stupidly placed sky light, off by 3 inches, so a tall/blind person might bang their head.
I saw door locks for the outside kitchen that didn't line up. (?)
Mercedes wasn't that comfortable for 250k, sorry. I was on every bed and seat in there. (Shoeless, of course) trying to imagine and pantomiming actual use.
.I could have done better with a Dodge myself.
LOVED the mechanical bed over the cabs. I didn't hop up there, but I would if I were buying at 50k+. Also, it's not complicated/hard/expensive to fix (yay).
One had REALLY squishy driver's seats, forgot who. Not Winnebago. Liked it a lot, tho. They skimp on the driver's seat way too often for the cost.
By jumping in the shower, I found soap dishes that would hit you right in the back. Stupid door designs.
Like the 3 pane glass ones or the long curtain. One would imagine, you put the faucets where the end of the door is with a soap dish and shampoo shelf. Duh.
Hated the plastic film doors. The rails were ALREADY a PITA.
I found a few spots where you'd bang your knees on things. Not cool for 50k+.
I personally don't like all the cabinets around the bed. If you give me easy to use underbed storage. I'm happy.
I like fairly short drawers because if I can't see it, it doesn't exist.
I'd like a small shelf for things like books and glasses near the bed or any chairs where stuff can't bang onto the floor. All shelves should have a lip, jmo. I found Ikea plastic baskets and a small lip, would/should probably prevent most things falling on the floor.
I need a comfy bed and seating.
I want to see stars when I close my eyes and a sunrise in the am. I don't want to see a bunch of tacky cabinets. Lol
I don't know that I'd spend 50k to sit and watch TV, tho. Normally, I use a small DVD player w external speakers when I'm cooking. I don't care if they die from cooking grease in the air (I use them a lot, so they don't normally make it past 3 years) and the KRK speakers were also inexpensive, but very nice sound.
I'd like something very easy to drive, not like a Maserati, where it's work. It has very responsive handling, but it isn't squishy, like most things sold in the States. I'm used to things handling like a Caddy. Big and floaty.
I liked the sofas and recliner chairs in nearly every RV I was in at the RV show.
I didn't like how many benches were a bit uncomfortable to sit on the edge of the seat.
If I could stand up in it and I don't feel claustrophobic, I'd be happy. In most, I'd like fewer sleeping places. They don't make many for just one person on a twin or queen (dog=half the bed) bed.
I'd like if the under bench storage had a door that flipped down so you could see the whole thing at once.
I think a camp fridge would force you to not lose stuff in back of it. Unlike a big fridge at home.
Not entirely sure of the potty situation, tho. I hear compost toilets can be...finicky. The idea of having to visit any former potty visits kind of bothers me (black water disposal and cleaning...)
Jmo. Much like a real house, I've got my own whole thing that would work for me and not anyone else, possibly. If anyone was curious, it's Home Depot houses. The one with the loft. I'd put the bathrooms sideways, tho. Not in back of the bedrooms that you have to pass through. LR, DR. Kitchen all open. Br off to either side. Loft over kitchen.
I think the HD price is very high for just a metal frame setup. It would be beyond stupid to not offer whole walls set up, wired and plumbed up to ship. See Boxabl. You could get better cost on labor, not doing it on-site.

A little dab of blue Loctite ought to keep those light shades in place yet still allow them to be removed if/when needed.

I love the concept of the trailer. But both models I looked at were junk.
