This is so ridiculous. Diddy never owned Ciroc it's an old brand of French vodka and he never had enough money to buy it. He tried to start a new liquor brand "De Leon" which he owned at 50% but Diageo invested 150 Million when he put in 1000$ (Yep I had to check 3 times and it's 1k$) They're all liars pretending to be "billionaires" when they're not and that's the real issue. The liquor business is owned by giant corporations they can't compete with. The only guy who managed to own a successful liquor brand was Georges Clooney but he has 2 associates and they invested fortunes in it, then sold it to Diageo.

This is hypocritical. This is also the game. The people in control make it difficult for others to gain control. Same thing with music. All those you see in the industry make sure that anybody not part of the industry. Go through legal trouble. Street trouble. Then run the cost up to operate. Look at the housing market. How do homes jump $100k in cost? The cost of the material is the same when it was purchased a decade ago. The house is already existing. Labor is maintaining. People cannot believe that it cost $10k a year to maintain and expect to recoup it all in one sale. The owners have a cost of living.

This situation with Fiddy is stupid. Crump and Curtis are using each other. Jackson has rarely given a damn about Black issues. Hence, his name, 50 Cent, is about fortune first, fast-forward to fame. Being that Quake has limited knowledge of racial relations, it is understandable he does not visualize that Fiddy is callous to race issues. If Fif had paid attention to racial disparities halfway, he might not have gotten burned, and his press conference would have been legitimate.

You have take what 50 cent says with a grain of salt. 50 cent doesn't possess a high school diploma, he doesn't possess a Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Economic, He doesn't know how to create a spreadsheets from scratch, he doesn't have a degree in finance or investment banking. A lot of liquor companies are generations owned as well as other companies. So, when these companies look to invest they do so with data of who the consumer is. Cigarette company marketed Filter King Cools and NewPorts to black people thus creating a generations of lung cancer and various lung diseases and heart. In every minority hood in America there is a liquor store on every street. But while are a large consumer we are also a demographic struggling with alchol and drug addiction which again is generational. Yes, we can dance and sing. But, anyone in the music business will tell you the money is made through tours and merchandise. In order a record label to truly recoup cost you have sale more than you what you borrowed to record the album as well as incidental like wardrobe, private planes, stylist or ect. The real investment in the black community has to be quality education and a requirement that all black children recoeve guidance in the benefits of high educational, scholarships, financial aid, and other resources. We must make sure we understand the difference between Diddy doing marketing for the liquor company and being an owner. Diddy was not an owner, he had no voting shares, no seat on the board of directors, no say so of who is hires or fired, no say so of executive compensation. In order to have that, one must make a substantial investment in order to have a voice. Diddy had none of things, he was struggling former rapper, who like Jeffery Epiesten was charismatic and charmed his was in those circles. But just like Epstien, he was easily fired and replaced and like eastern facing possible sex trafficking
