Pb blaster works good but in my experience with it when it starts to dry out it gets really sticky like glue I would clean whatever you use the pb blaster on after you get it loose and lube it properly I've had things get stuck pretty good after using it that new cap they have is cool
yeah i have had the same issue , its great for getting things loose but gunks up later , the whole bike is going to come apart to be cleaned and re-greased and the chains will be replaced so i don't mind as much giving it a hose down with pb .
You lucky ass. Man i have been looking for one for a while. Avery one around here think's there made of gold. But last year i did run across a sweet 85 Suzuki fa50 super low mileage for a 100. dollars. Hey i think yellow will be a better bike too. Great video my friend. Keep up the great work 👍👍👍
Thanks , ive had a few fa50 mopeds , they are pretty sweet little bikes , these are the first pintos i have ever had , it sucks that the red one is a goner , i wanted to do an engine rebuild on it but that would take it from a $200 mistake to a$600 mistake and thats before tires , tubes , a new carb and intake , stator ect so it unfortunately is a parts bike unless someone really wants a pinto and is willing to spend a ton of money on it ,
ok looks like im going to have to take back what i said , i found just enough parts in the US to justify a motor rebuild on the red bike , i just drained my bank account to do it :/ wish me luck
This is a comment from your Marksman comparison since I can't comment there. Did you replace the loading barrel tip or keep the one on the original refurbished model?
i actually did both , i rebuilt two metal huntington beach marksman repeaters , one i kept the muzzle but replaced the barrel , the other i replaced the muzzle , i will note that the newer muzzle is a tighter fit and may require minimal modification to get it to fit properly ,
i say that because of several reasons , but mainly because they just arent good bikes , they break down constantly and everything costs an arm and a leg to purchase , i couldnt believe how much it cost to get these bikes to barely run , if you want it for a collectors piece id say try to grab it cheap but if your looking for a rider id urge you to find something else , in my opinion they look cool but they arent worth the headache
Great find on those mopeds. Looking forward to the finished product.
Oh and nice find I too would have bought them up two mostly complete mopeds like that is a find of the decade imo
That is very nice, looking forward to this project
Looks fun, jcp anything that is gas powered is awesome and getting hard to find.
You can just externally mount a condenser instead of getting a new complete stator. Any 6v condenser will work even like a vw one from autozone.

I found one near me for 900$ with no spark, I feel like that’s overpriced can you help me
I found one near me with no spark and 5000+ miles and they want 900$ not running, what’s the max you would pay
Maybe 300 , i paid 400 for the pair myself and i think i still got ripped off
