Cad Bane is probably the only Star Wars character who can make a surprise return twice in a row.
They did bane perfectly. But he should've been introduced in episode 3 or 4.
❤
I think as part of Boba’s vision, there should have been glimpses of Bane meeting young Boba in prison, training him and forcing him to commit dishonorable murders. Could have established the character and his past with Boba a little with people who never saw Clone Wars before his full reveal in this episode. Could also better emphasize that Boba’s time among the Tuskens brought him back away from Bane’s ruthless ways and more towards an honorable path.
I don't know how they did it, but Cad Bane looks so much like Clint Eastwood to me in this. And I don't just mean the whole cowboy thing.... I mean his mannerisms, his whole demeanour... The way the eyes kind of squint.... Even the way he turns back towards Cob to check him after gunning down the deputy... It all just... it was a blue-faced, red-glowy-eyed, noseless Eastwood..... and i freakin loved it!!
Interesting fact that he was based more on Angel Eyes from Fistful of Dollars.
@@SharpDesign Yeah there is definitely a Lee Van Cleef-ness to him, certainly.
Reminds me a bit of Henry Fonda in Once Upon A Time In The West.
Try Angel Eyes
...😟😧🤯
That alone makes me like this Cad Bane look more
-Imagine Clint Eastwood as Cad Bane 👀
Bane :“you should’ve never given up your armour “
Also bane : shoots cobb vanth in the shoulder
I think he did that on purpose
It wasn’t about killing him, it was about sending a message.
And a message he did send.
Also, had to make sure Cobb's deputy didn't get a free shot.
Would be kinds silly for Cad Bane to lecture a corpse though...
It was never his to begin with
I really do Love this scene with Cob Vanth vs Cad Bane having a Western showdown so Awesome
What's the animen in your profile picture?
@@tectectonic1701 Re-zero
@@NeonVictor do the main character die in the end?
@@tectectonic1701 Nope he only does and reset to different checkpoints
@@NeonVictor That sounds dumb af so is it like sao?
So he drew left handed here just to prove how fast he is? Because he draws righty against Fett. Not only that but in the clone wars, he’s always favored the right hand regardless of being ambidextrous.
Maybe this scene was reversed for UA-cam so copyright doesn't detect it?
Yep. He just did it to prove he’s the fastest gun this side of the Outer Rim.
Bane’s the kind of guy to do it if you know him.
He reaches for the blaster with his left in CW a lotta times too.
This is a super late reply, but if I remember correctly the two guns are slightly different. The gun on his left is the standard gun he always used in Clone Wars, but the gun on the right seems to be a “higher caliber” or something. When he uses it against Boba Fett the sound is much different than the gun he uses here and in Clone Wars. I think he uses this gun for speed and rapid fire, while the right side gun is for heavier armored targets (like a Mandalorian).
You know Cad Bane means business in The Book of Boba Fett because you don't see him chewing a toothpick.
Cad Bane needs his own show, Cobb Vanth is basically a space version of Raylan Givens
Likely what the casting director told him to do lol
First they gotta work on the hand proshtetics
“I’d be careful where I was sticking my nose if I were you”
*says the guy with no nose*
If his kind doesn’t have a nose then how can his smell things ?
Idk why but it makes me a little uncomfortable looking at the place where a nose would be kinda making me feel I have no nose
@DantheMan2605 probably a heightened sense of taste.
Hopefully Cad Bane has a 1 vs 6 showdown with Boba Fett's High School Musical Power Ranger club and brutally guns them all down.
Now that would be a scene I would rewatched
I like his power ranger club…..
@@sasquasher_369 I prefer IG-88B, Bossk, 4-LOM, Dengar and Zuckuss.
@@BerserkerX i do think it would've been cool to see aurra, bossk, and ig88 helping cad bane
@@yourlocalghastyt285 yeah but Aurra Sing is already dead(established in Solo) but I know what you mean.
This scene really encapsulates the space western style for me
You can say that again. And it doesn’t overdo it either with a fan-faring soundtrack or cheesy movements/lines. It’s pure tension and suspense, which is exactly how a showdown like this should be 👌
Bane didn't Shoot Vanth fatally because he didn't want him to become a martyr for the people of Mos Pelgo. Vanth got a merciful warning shot and the deputy who Bane recognized was inexperienced and a very easy target was used as an example of what would happen to them if they showed up to help Boba
Exactly
What I'm not sure I get is why he needs a cybernetic surgery. He got hit in the shoulder. Maybe it was a deep penetrating shot and a new joint might be called for, but it sure seems like they made a mountain out of a molehill.
He disrespected the duel. that's why Bane killed him. Bane loves 1v1 duels.
Soon as I saw Cad Bane in this I thought “Well it was fun knowing the Marshal.”
This was the most tense moment in the show by far.
Cob Vanth was distracted. He'll be more focused next time they meet... and maybe he'll have some Mandalorian armor as well.
Would be cool if he gets his own custom armor...
No he won't. He isn't Mandalorian.
@@st4ne4rmthevill63 Technically the Mandalorian isn't Mandalorian either.
isnt he… dead
@@nathanevans1382 more Mando then Vanth
The cool thing here is that Bane is right-handed, but he draws with his left hand. And he still wins the draw.
It's ironic. Cad says id be careful were I was sticking my nose. But Cad ol buddy you don't have a nose that you could stick any were to begin with.
his ass.
True, still one of my favorite lines from this series.
He actually said "...if I were you."
@@Andrea_404 great point. If he were him he actually would have a nose to stick somewhere.
I love judging how capable star wars characters are based off of how well they do in a standoff vs Cad Bane
Cad Bane is a badass. I remember he 2v1s Quinlan and Obi Wan in the Clone Wars and actually gets the upper hand.
Because of his damn rocket shoes…
Cad Bane Stole The Show.
Bane warning people to watch their nose would honestly be like telling Vader not to be so burned up about things…
I was so amazed to see Cad Bane. Also I knew once he showed up that this wouldn't end well.
Jedi's are the Samurai's. But Bounty Hunters are the Cowboys of the Galaxy Far, Far Away.
I'll be honest, I was shocked and surprised that Cad Bane made an appearance in the last two episodes in this series.
Cobb Vanth mightve had a shot (pun intended) to shoot first if his deputy wasnt distracting him...
I think Cad would’ve still won though... Hunter didn’t really have any distractions and he still lost
@@matthacker3481 well hunter had his arm extended completely plus he’s a soldier not a gunslinger
The scary thing is I was just talking about him the day before this episode dropped, saying I wish there was more of him and look who shows up
I’d be careful where I was sticking my nose if I were you.
Everyone will be left alone.
As long as the spice keeps running,
It makes me wonder, where was Cad Bane when Vader ordered the bounty on Han Solo.
Didn’t exist yet ;)
@@MRresievil310 bro u do know Cad Bane existed way before Luke was even born right, I mean the nigga was literally fighting Anakin skywalker, Ahoska and Kenobi in the clone wars lmaoo
@@OnePullUpKing i meant as a character
He seems to not like the empire. He’s definitely meaner in this show than his other depictions. Something definitely happened to bane between the bad batch and now.
Retirement
Boba Fett is a cold blooded killer who worked for the Empire.
Look who's talking.
Bane worked for the exact same dude who ruled the Republic and the Empire.
Yea I love his delivery but his lines make no damn sense
Hey, at least Cad Bane didn’t work for the Empire…at least as far as we know now.
To be honest he was probably just trying to get Vanth riled up, or to get him questioning his decision to join Fett’s little motley crew.
@@harrambou9468 He isn't claiming to be any better than Fett. Just trying to get Vanth to doubt Fett enough to throw him off.
He believed those who were killers can’t change their ways which is he chose to stay as a murderer.
@@Sevenizer1also pretty much no one in Galaxy has any idea that the emperor is darth sidious. Bane probably doesn't either.
Cobb Vanth. Vanth Refrigeration.
Cad Bane been alive during the Rebellion the whole time that's makes him another Clone Wars survivor
Tattooine belongs to the pyke syndicate.

Come on deputy! you distracted cobb vanth.
He blasted that poor fellow into oblivion
Cad Bane. We meet again.
Lol the deputy couldn't even clear his holster in 3 seconds while initiate what a joke.
You should have never given up your armor.
Fun fact: He doesn't have a nose
Cad Bane should of said, “Im your huckleberry”
You when can judge a character’s by their teeth, you know they’re the GOAT
We were so close to having Cad Bane meet the Mandalorian. That would've been an interesting confrontation. **sighs** I guess they sort of saw each other in the final episode on BoBF. Oh well.
Raylan Givens finally met his match.
I popped like a kid when they showed his silhouette
Why am I struggling so hard to find a full video of this clip that includes when Cobb says "and who might you be" 💀
Is that Cad bane from the Clone wars?
It sure is. About 26 years older now

Rumors spreading in Tatooine
I loved the show, but this is my FAVORITE scene in the whole thing! I was grinning ear-to-ear and squealing like a schoolgirl the whole time!!! 💙💙💙
He shouldn’t have been Cad Banes huckleberry
If that deputy wasn't there it would've been a draw... As you can see Cobb got distracted... In fact all of Banes duels are pretty lucky for him... When he dueled against hunter hunter drew first but took time to aim rather than just shooting.... Boba used a rifle instead of his pistol which was incredibly dumb... And the first time he and boba dueled (in the unfinished episode) he got off lucky only getting grazed which is why he has that plate on his head. Cad Bane isn't the fastest.... Just the smartest and luckiest.
He is though he out drew both of them with his left hand
Just like what Megamind said, supervillain has entrances
It was there I saw on a hillside gravestone you will never leave tatooine alive
The NEW Angel Eyes.
Cookie for you!
Imagine a red dead like Game set in the Star wars universe
It's not "Versus". It's "One-Way".
To me cad bane needed a bigger hat
bro honestly to me, This is the coolestshit ever
I'm surprised there wasn't a Tumbleweed. Too many Texans in this show.
Its so surreal to me...
Amazing return
1:40-1:44 It’ll be funny if he did that to Applejack and Rarity.
Red dead mandalorian
Lol almost forgot about the famous cowboy Clint Eastwood
Make my day
Thanks 🙂
*… yeah no, that’s Cryptosporidium 137.*
I love cad bane he my favorite
We dug coal together
The fact that Cad outdraws Cobb, shoots him, checks to make sure he's not getting back up, then turns to the deputy and shoots him four times before the deputy can get one shot off seems kind of bullshit to me.
He is actually the flash
Cad Bane should have killed Boba
Great show.
i am certain Cobb could have won that duel(or at least improved his odds) if not for the stupid deputy. He distracted him.
Doubt it. Cad's fast af.
No if Cad really took him as a threat he would have shot right handed instead of left
cad bane should've gotten shot by the other guy when he was literally waiting for Cobb to fall on the ground, but naah, the plot armor is strong with this one.
Honestly if you pause it when it cuts to the wannabies shaky hand it looks like the strap on his holster is still attached.
It'd be quite funny to think thats what got them both shot, wannabe distracts Vanth and then tries to pull his weapon but fails and gets obliterated.
Raylan Givens would’ve won easy
1:38
Gotta be honest, badass scene...but... how the hell do they hear what the other is saying, they are super far away and talk in regular volume, I thought about it for a second and it looks so silly that way.
Epic
ah yes, the gunslinger who raises his gun all the way up to his face in a quick draw duel, they really wanted us to know Bane was going senile. how polite of Vanth to draw his blaster at the appropriate level and then wait for Bane to aim down his sights and shoot him, what a gentleman.
for the record the bad batch got it right but this show couldn't... absolute garbage with no respect to the source it draws inspiration from, I'm sorry people seem so intent on being fooled by it

There is something missing with bane here, I can't quite put my finger on it
As someone who still hasn't seen the show, it sounded like he said his own name in a weird garbled accent.
I heard boba not even on the show anymore
Should’ve just killed vanth here. Cad bane would’ve never left him alive. Stupid writing
Cad bane shot hunter and he lived so yeah your argument falls flat
@@darthnater9731 Hunter only lived because of his clone commando armor
So...wrong voice...wrong color gauntlets, wrong side gun reveal, wrong gun for his dual signature weapons, Wrong gun and attachment which is just any CoD Acog sight, Wrong Sound for said guns, Wrong predraw motions, Wrong after motion of Banes signature quickdraw, Wrong Hat. So much wrong only a true fan would see.
Or plot twist he hasn't been using the same gun for over twenty years and sounds a little different after 20 years of going to different plants and there goes everything u just said
A tru fan wouldn't be such a nitpicky bitch.
"...Wrong voice..." You do realize that he's voiced by Corey Burton here... right? You know, the same guy who voiced him in the original clone wars series?
Finally!
Glad I'm not the only one pointing at the wrong hat!!👍
@@adamhogan5442 it is the same gun, and weapons havent sounded any different from the days of the old republic. Every cinematic showed the earliest bounty hunters, troopers, and gunships with predated weapons of these and they all sounded the same dispite being thousands of years earlier. The starwars weapons are like the Ak-47 weapon, surviving the times with little to no improves.
