@@CynicalScorpio The Now Now in last? What!?!? Lol jk. I understand if some people were disappointed with it. It was such a slow album. But I love it, but I respect your opinion
@@TwilightZoneMusic03 It's not because it's slow. It's more so because of the production, which was pretty bland for the most part. It also lacked the creativity of their other albums. The whole thing just sounded too "normal" to me. Although I loved the songs Humility, Tranz, Idaho, and Souk Eye.
The Joplin Spider is one of my favorite tracks off theirs as a whole. It’s so brooding, dark, and almost one big RIP headphone warning, also has one of my favorite vocal passages. I like about half of the track, but the other half being throwaways.
Phoner to Arizona - sets the mood pretty damn well, great tension in melody Revolving doors - Nice groovy song Bobby in Pheonix - Great guitar at start, the lyrics are deep as hell Hillbilly man - The guitar part is simple and chill, the other part is a bit weird, although i like the weird singing Detroit - Nice groovy song too. Amarillo - Great melancholic song, probably the best one by gorillaz. Joplin Spider - I don't really like Aspen Forest - for a long time i didn't like, now i kinda do The parish of space dust - It's a melancholic waltz with great lyrics, what else can you want? Oh, and "parish of space dust" is pretty damn cool metaphor Pink plastic bags - pretty nice melody, although i don't really underestand the lyrics Snake in dallas - Sounds like wrestling theme song Shy town - pretty nice i guess Speak it mountains - does this still classify as music?
Short and sweet (just like thw album) analysis of what makes this album stand out, kudos! I already found The Fall the weird one out of their discography, both because it seems like a hybrid between a proper album and one of their b-sides collections, and due to it being kind of like watershed for their discography (before The Fall, the more experimental and traditional instrumentally arranged; after The Fall, the poppier and more synthesized). And while it's not my fave one by Gorillaz, it's got a special place in my heart.
Thanks. Yeah The Fall is definitly the black sheep of Gorillaz studio albums. And you're right, Gorillaz music definitly got more "normal" after The Fall, I never really thought about that.
Yes! I thought I always was alone for thinking this is one of my absolute favorites from them. Maybe not number 1, but up very high. It has such an amazing flow and really takes you on a journey
@@Uber_Versace but it makes for a fantastic gig opener (as do I Switched My Robot Off and Ascension, though that's highly contingent on Vince Staples being present)
Hey man I know this is an older Video but why didn't you say something about Revolving Doors, it's probably my favorite on the album I'm a suckere for melancholic tracks
Nowadays, Plastic Beach is probably my favorite Gorillaz album, but I'll always love The Fall!
Cynical Scorpio my rating is 1. The Now Now 2. Demon Days 3. Humanz 4. Plastic Beach 5. The Fall 6. Gorillaz

I’ve been looking for someone to make a video on this album
Hillbilly man could’ve been the falls version of empire ants
I can kinda see that
Well the fall is my favorite too. Now closing the video at 0:02
I choose Humanz.
One thing about this album that proves a point: you can still be a musician even though you just have an iPad
i LOVE hillbilly man sm probs my favorite track off the album
I love the first minute of it, but after that it loses me
I love Aspen forest
Finally someone who acknowledges the fall as an amazing album

Yes it's a great driving album!
I really love the jurassic changes in tone in both M1A1 and hillbilly man
M1A1 is from their first album though... but I think I know what you mean.
@@CynicalScorpio i know i they just both kinda explode amd everybody hates it fsr
@@Uber_Versace
Wait, people hate M1A1? Aw...
@@CynicalScorpio appearently the beginning is boting and sounds bad
I personaly think it builds suspense gives the song character and creates tone

Yay someone agrees with me! The Fall is the best Gorillaz album.
Hey man you Finnaly sold me on this album being my favorite
So glad I could convince a Panda about it's favorite album
Hey man I know this is an older Video but why didn't you say something about Revolving Doors, it's probably my favorite on the album

Not my favorite, but I really do love it
i live in joplin lol
@@CynicalScorpio I got bit by one just a couple weeks ago😂
Hillbilly man 🖤
How do the vocals sound so clear and clean if they were recorded on a ipad?
Orange
I'm guessing he still used a decent microphone to record the audio, and then it was just put together on an Ipad...
